II Corinthians 4:5-7

"For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."

"Whosoever shall deny Me before men, him will I also deny before My Father Who is in heaven." Matthew 10:33

Admittedly, the "believer" does not publicly repudiate his Savior; yet the principle remains unchanged. IF here and now you rely on man's "arm of flesh," trusting the Lord will smile upon your ghost AFTER you're dead, then have you – before men – "denied" His keeping power for your present. Is it not the duty of a father to provide for and "keep" the family? Glance back to those words above: "...will I also deny before My Father...."! In other words, His "keeping" power is withheld. While the very antithesis you will find in the two preceding verses, where He assured them the very hairs of their heads were numbered. "Fear ye not therefore...." Then the emphatic statement that those who "confess him before men" – will He also confess before His Father. As stated, the reference to the Father, of necessity implies His KEEPing power in the Here and Now.

...When once the assurance is deep-rooted that HE is a present and perpetual KEEPer in absolute totality, then does the mind become FREE, and the heart in perpetual rejoicing. Then do the "singers" God appointed to serve the "tabernacle," swell their chorus into a symphonic overture, and rhapsody infills the "congregation." Try it out, and LEARN TO LIVE....

PRAISE the Lord – that He may bless you!
