II Corinthians 4:5-7

"For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."

"And, having made peace through the blood of His Cross, by Him to reconcile all things unto Himself; by Him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath He reconciled." Colossians 1:20-21

"He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty." Psalm 91:1

Greetings, radio friends! May this day be one of peace and great joy to you! And it certainly should be because the children of Jesus Christ know no defeat; they may encounter obstacles, but they rise above them. They might enter into problems, but Christ lights the way through them. That is the wonderfully good news I bring to a world bedeviled by Lucifer and his henchmen. Maybe you haven't known it, but clearly are we told in Scripture that this world is Lucifer's kingdom, for he is the prince thereof (Jn. 14:30; Lk. 4:5-6). Because the Devil is in charge, we see the deplorable conditions existing in the world today. But again I say, Rejoice! – because our Lord and soon-coming King wrought a finished work on Calvary! It atoned for you and me. It set us free. And He delivered the Keys to the Kingdom of God, so that whosoever will may apply for entry and citizenship in God's Kingdom. When once accepted, then the person is no longer a citizen of Lucifer's realm. Because he no longer belongs to Lucifer's kingdom, he can enjoy here and now the fruits of the Kingdom of God.

Turn to Revelation 6. I want to quote to you verses 3 and 4:

"And when He had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, `Come and see.' And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword."

It seems so regrettable that regardless of where we turn, the Bible is not understood. Of course our Lord did predict that night would come when no one could work, and also that the enemy would sow the tares while men slept: all of which have led to the present situation where the world stands on the brink of catastrophe. Did you ever pay notice to those three words, "Come and see," which are spoken as the first four seals are broken? Wherever we have gone, we have always heard that these things took place in Heaven. That may be ever so true because the Revelator does tell us that he was caught up into Heaven, but when he heard the second beast say "Come and see," we are not told that the spirit of John went anywhere to see. It was the beast that was speaking, not God. That same observation applies to every instance in the breaking of the first four seals. All of these revelations were given for man. And the significance thereof is simple: it means that we, as people of earth, must come, or go, to some geographical spot in order to witness that which the visions symbolize. As we continue to read we see that another horse went forth that was red, and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another, and there was given unto him a great sword.

The Bible is a book of numbers and symbols: these constitute the language of God. In Scripture the horse is a symbol of war, or rather the power or spirit of war. That means this second horse rider who is red, denotes the power or spirit of war, but as chiefly vested in one country, because we have to travel, or "come," to see its fulfillment. Surely we all know that there is a form of government today which uses a red banner for its flag, and portrayed on that red flag is a hammer and sickle. Observe, those are two symbols which we can properly link with the number two of the beasts.

We are told that he was given power to take peace from the earth. Surely those who hear my voice need not be told that wherever we have seen war, or that serious strife which builds up to war, we have often found that Communism was/is behind it. Today we still find such nations as North Korea, China, Vietnam, Cuba, and others who continue to be under the sign of the hammer and sickle. And, we can look to Africa, India, China, or wherever our vision wanders, where we see the mounting strife and contention building up towards the bursting point. We continue to see the hostilities building up between India and Pakistan. And of recent years we have beheld the rise of the sword wielded by militant Islam.

Hear the Word of God: "He shall take peace from the earth and they shall kill one another." Today we have the United Nations, and our best men, in so far as the political arena is concerned, have been working and are working hard to chart pacts and agreements, in order that we may peacefully coexist with Communism and Islam. But about nineteen centuries ago Christ foretold this, declaring emphatically that the Beast would take peace from the earth, to the end that we would kill one another. Now, if God had referred to a few people or even a few million people to be killed, that would have been no news. Wars, slaughter, and death have reigned ever since people became multiplied nations. To understand we must look deeper into the Word of God and its implied meanings.

Taking peace from the earth to the end that we kill one another means far more than some casual war: it means that the whole world gets divided into armed camps, which in the final conflict of the ages destroy one another. No doubt our leaders are as eager to avert war as you and I are – no normal person wants war; so we are prone to pin our hopes on the United Nations Organization, thinking, hoping, praying, that it will save the peace, but, it is doomed to failure. When God said that the Red Rider would take peace from the earth, God meant it, and that means that it will go from bad to worse.

And then we read, "...there was given unto him a great sword." A sword stands for division, strife and contention, all of which ultimately lead to war. So, when we are told that a great sword was given him, that revealed that the agents of hell, under the banner of Communism, would be successful, leading up to what I already said – the entire world getting divided into armed camps, awaiting the conflict. In fact, it would be a reasonably correct statement to say that we have already arrived at that stage.

God has His Own peculiar ways of corroborating His Word and leaving His insignia. Some remember World War number II which raged in the early 1940s. At that time, Russia was our ally. But I wonder how many of you know that a world empire, namely, Great Britain, prepared an actual and very great sword as a gift for Russia. No doubt it was the costliest sword ever prepared by one nation as a gift for another. This great sword was furbished and ceremoniously presented to Joseph Stalin by Winston Churchill at the Teheran conference in November 1943. It was in honor of the staunch defenders of Stalingrad. And all this was done in order that we should see portions of prophecy fulfilled in its minutest detail; that we might know ahead of time with certainty the connection of Communism to the Red-horse Rider. (As of the present time it remains to be seen what countries which made up the former USSR, and/or aligned with it, will return to embrace the Communist philosophy.)

The world staggers on under the crushing burden of its previous wars, and every right person hopes and prays we will never see another. And our leaders talk about peaceful coexistence, and struggle to arrive at mutual agreements, whereby lasting and honorable peace shall be established. But emphatic is the Word of God that the Red-horse Rider takes peace from the earth, to the end that eventually we rise up to kill one another.

Now, let us come back to ourselves, and look to the two-edged sword which proceeds from the mouth of Christ our Lord. That sword is the Word of truth. That sword too causes division: it divides the truth from the false. The Red Rider is to "take peace from the earth." Our Lord spoke almost the same words concerning Himself when He said, "Think not that I am come to send peace on earth, but rather a sword" (Matt. 10:34).

Why is man sick? Why is man miserable and unhappy? Why is man unsuccessful and many full of evil? It is because of the same sword – that is, division. Man has eaten of the tares until he no longer discerns the truth; therefore does division set up within him; strife becomes a portion of his being. He is no longer happy because he is at odds with the world and at odds with himself. Peace was lost shortly after he became a grown-up human being, if indeed it lasted that long. And therein is found a substantial portion of the secret of the Keys to the Kingdom of Jesus Christ for our here and for our now.

The Apostle tells us that upon the cursed tree, our Lord and Savior established peace between man and God (Col. 1:20). Since peace was established, there is no just cause for conflict to rage within ourselves. We are expected to believe Him Who has given us such an overwhelming amount of evidence to prove His identity and assurances. Just so soon as we have been born into the Kingdom of Jesus Christ for the here and now, and have received the Keys of knowledge to the Kingdom, then our conflict comes to its end. Instead of division within, conflict with our fellow man and strife in our life, we know that the glories of the Kingdom and the richness thereof are a part and parcel of our inheritance – or, we might say, our birthright. Therefore we are filled with joy, and peace within becomes a priceless possession, even a treasure which is worth more than all the gold in the world. Many people have inherited fortunes and died at the news thereof, but when you come into the treasures of the Kingdom of God for our here and now, you will never die at the news thereof; you merely get beside yourself with great joy!

We hear the angry voices and contention in the world ruled by Lucifer, but we pass them by because we belong to the Kingdom of Jesus Christ, wherein dwells peace and happiness. We may hear of wars and rumors of wars and actually have it come close to us, yet we never fear, because we know that Christ our Lord is what we might call our personal Bodyguard. Of that very happy situation wrote the Prophet-psalmist of old saying:

"He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Thou shall not be afraid for the terror by night, nor for the arrow that flieth by day; nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness, nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side and ten thousand at thy right hand, but it shall not come nigh thee. Because thou hast made the Lord which is my refuge, even the Most High thy habitation, there shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling." Psalm 91:1,5-7,9-10

A portion of that happy news I have for you is that the Keys to the Kingdom of Jesus Christ for our here and now, actually work. Speaking briefly for myself, since the time I was a youngster I have known the meaning of good health. I do not know the meaning of a headache; I have never swallowed an aspirin pill. I do not know the meaning of failure, neither sorrow through any personal experience. My closest approach to grief comes through the fact that I find it so difficult to get people to understand and come into the fullness of truth. Not that I grieve too unduly over it, for the simple reason I understand why; nevertheless, it does grieve me in a measure, for I love to see other people even as healthy and happy as myself, and even knowing that deep-flowing peace which can never be ruffled.

In order to dwell in the secret place of the Most High, with the shadow of the Almighty over us, we must possess and use the Keys of Knowledge to the Kingdom of Jesus Christ for our here and for our now. And why shouldn't you have them: they constitute such a completely delightful experience!? We cease to worry over India and Pakistan, over North Korea and China, or Islamic terrorists, and our ears grow deaf to our quarreling neighbors, for the simple reason that we live in the Presence of Jesus Christ, and have our inheritance in His Kingdom for the here and now. We look to the birds and hear the happiness of their song, and we know that God is there. We look to the beauty of their plumage and to the glory of Creation, and we know that God is there. We look to the actual miracles which have taken place in our own lives, and we know that God is here. We stop for a moment to try to analyze the great peace and joy that dwells within, and we fail: we only know that God is there. We arise in the morning with a shout of joy upon our lips: there is no actual reason for it except we know that Christ dwells within, and is going to lead and bless throughout the entire day. I sit down to write and know not what to say, but with complete confidence I rejoice within because I know that Christ my Lord will lead the way. I never worry, fear or fret, because I am "under the shadow of the Almighty."

May I ask you a personal question: Do YOU know that deep-moving PEACE within, which nothing can ruffle? Do YOU greet and meet every day with a shout of joy; a song bursting forth to express your happiness? Do tears of joy brim your eyes under conditions which drive others into gloom? Do YOU daily experience that heaven-on-earth which is the sure possession of those who abide "in the secret place of the Most High"? Have YOU the irrepressible JOY of knowing that Christ on Calvary wrought an absolutely finished work for YOUR here and now? If to these simple yet very vital questions you cannot answer with a positive YES, then KNOW that you are only half-alive! And the fault is your own!

Even for those so poor they cannot help to offset our expenses involved, we have been willing to bear the cost to the extent of well over 100 small books and lessons-in-truth – that they too may find treasure until they burst forth into rapturous melody.

"The Lord bless thee and keep thee: the Lord make His face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: the Lord lift up His countenance upon thee, and give thee PEACE." Numbers 6:24-26

– This also is the prayer of your servant Mikkel Dahl.
