II Corinthians 4:5-7

"For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."

"And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son: and he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD hath cursed." Genesis 5:28-29

"These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God. And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth." Genesis 6:9-10

"And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him. And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren. And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant. God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant." Genesis 9:24,27

Greetings, my friends, to the tune of a glorious sunrise! No doubt you have watched the beauty, and even the grandeur of a bright sunrise as its symphony of color dances through the heavens when sunlight kisses the face of the mother earth, followed by the warmth of its embrace. That is a picture, even a prophetic symbol of God's love to man as he awakens from the stupor of his spiritual slumber to receive into open arms the all-enfolding love of Christ our Savior.

If you are one of those unfortunates who have been so brainwashed as to believe that the lot of man is perpetual trouble – sickness, grief and misery – then it is high time that you wake up to the grandeur of God's Creation, and the ineffable glories which Christ has prepared for those who love Him. No, my friends: I am not speaking of glories for your "soul" in the mists of a future world and a hoped-for tomorrow, but I am speaking of man's earth-life right here and now! Hear The Voice of Tomorrow: Jesus of Nazareth, the very Son of God, went all the way to Calvary's Cross to redeem the entire being of man – not merely the soul, which our spiritual leaders are so fond of prattling about.

Did you ever hear the saying about "passing the buck"? It is human nature when we get up against a problem to "pass the buck" ("Let Harry do it"). Another phase of the same nature is when persons get into great difficulty, to dig up an excuse, or hunt up a scapegoat. As for instance in the days of Germany's Hitler, his people had suffered much under the burdens which came as an aftermath of World War I. So, to boost the German morale and inflate their ego and unify his people, Hitler brought forth a scapegoat: something that all his people could learn to hate. As a result, millions of Jews were exterminated. It has been the same with the fortunes of man and our spiritual leaders: because they have been too blind and stupid to deal with man's present problems, griefs and troubles, they have "passed the buck" into a future world and a hoped-for tomorrow, dangling colored lollipops before the eyes of the human "soul." And that is approximately all it amounts to: pink ice cream and lollipops on the hallelujah bandwagon bound for streets of gold in an unknown world and a hoped-for tomorrow.

I want to quote Matthew 10:7-8, which give us the message Christ delivered to His apostles when He sent them forth to preach to the lost sheep of the House of Israel:

"And as ye go, preach, saying, The Kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give."

This, in substance, is precisely the same message that He delivered to His apostles just before His ascension into the heavens. Except that instead of unto the lost sheep of the House of Israel, He commanded them to go into all the world and teach the Gentile nations, even as they had taught the Jews (Matt. 28:19-20; Mk. 16:15). At your convenience, study that message carefully, and you will fail to find the faintest hint about the human soul. If the "soul" of man is so all-important (as according to our churches), then why was it that Jesus didn't even hint at that matter?

I challenge you to search the Gospels and find as much as one instance where our Lord spoke for as much as one full minute about "the human soul" and "going to Heaven" – it isn't to be found in the Record! Only on an odd few occasions did He mention the word "soul." But when we study those passages carefully according to the original texts, we find that most of them are mistranslations, or worded so as to convey a wrong impression. Our Lord's reference to the human soul and to heaven – in the sense that our churches preach it – is quite impossible to find in the words of the Son of God! That is, the idea that Jesus meant to imply the importance of the soul going to heaven after we die, etc. Again I command you to study the words of the Nazarene and take serious stock of what you believe. If with an open mind you will study the words of the Son of God, then you will find that He ministered unto earth-man, and dealt with the problems of man as we know them here and now. Not even on one instance did He say to someone sick or bereaved, "Cheer up, because you will get pie in the sky after you die." No, indeed! Jesus never passed the buck: He dealt with human problems for the here and now, and similarly did He command His disciples to do. What right then have we to bypass these problems and to pass the buck to a future world, and lollipops for the human soul in a hoped-for tomorrow?

Scripture tells us that man is "body, soul and spirit" (I Thess. 5:23): that is, a composite being. To start babbling about the human soul and ignoring the rest of man's being becomes lopsided; it becomes like putting a small patch on an old, tattered garment, with one's fingers crossed, hoping that patch will help to make up for the rest of the tatters. Jesus was a human being Who lived in this world; our Christ was a Realist Who dwelt in the present and dealt with man's momentary problems, never wasting as much as one full minute babbling about the human soul.

For the entirety of the human being did Christ our Lord go to Calvary, to "finish the work": accomplishing the absoluteness of our redemption, and the totality of our preservation – that is, the preservation of the entire human being (which includes the human soul and whatever more goes to make up the being of man). But Christ our Lord said while He was in the flesh, that at His departure night would set in when no one could work (Jn. 9:4). How true has history proven that prophecy to be! What rationality or coherence can we expect from someone babbling in the stupor of sleep, or raving in the moments of a nightmare? When you have answered that question, then have you also set forth the outline of the sum and the substance of that which has been taught in our churches to this very day....

That glorious redemption for man which Christ our Lord wrought on Calvary's Cross was a finished work for man here and now. Those who have been born anew into the Kingdom of Jesus Christ, and live as the sons and daughters of God, can enjoy the fruits of Christ's Kingdom here and now. That was the purpose of the sacrifice made by the Son of God – that He might redeem estranged humanity. Adam and Eve were people of flesh and blood and bones like we, and their disobedience was committed in the flesh. Upon the bodies of flesh and earthlife descended the judgment. Therefore, when God commenced to deal with this problem of "sin," as we call it, He did of necessity commence at the very spot it started: namely, the bodies of human flesh and our earth-life. And that He did deal with, and gloriously!

In my last message I dealt with Cain and Abel out of the Old Testament. Today I want to go back briefly to the Old Testament again and show you how God, even from the very beginning, continued to unfold the mysteries of His plan for man, and how He would completely restore us into the embrace of His love. Once more we will take a look at Noah, and this time deal with another phase of his life. As I shared in a previous message, the name means "rest," and the prophecy went out about him that he would "comfort his people" (Gen. 5:29). Because of that, Noah became a type of Christ our Lord, the Savior of man, for Noah saved his entire household in the days of the Great Deluge.

Why did Noah have three sons? You see, beloved, the great failing of our spiritual leaders, right up into this day, has been that they have treated the Bible (especially the Old Testament account) as a story, or a narrative of past history, and there they have stopped. In the stupor of their spiritual sleep they have failed to realize that all of the Old Testament constitutes a prophetic revelation of God's Will and the future for man. It isn't enough for us to say that it was only natural for Noah to have some sons; it gets us nowhere to say that it just happened to be three sons. Neither does it help us in the slightest to say that their names just happened to be Shem, Ham and Japheth. I repeat: all of these events, peoples and their names were intended by God to convey to man a distinct and detailed message of our Heavenly Father's Will and plan for us, which we would come to understand at the time of awakening from out of our spiritual stupor.

Was it not through his sons that Noah carried on his work in the building of the Ark, and the preservation of life on the face of the earth? There were three of those sons. Since Noah was a type of Christ our Lord, so does that show us that there are three types of Christians which Christendom has brought forth through the Spirit of Christ, and they answer to Shem, Ham and Japheth. Before I detail that, permit yourself to be reminded that Christ our Lord said that the sower went forth to sow the good seed, which eventually brought forth one hundred-fold, sixty-fold and thirty-fold (Matt. 13:3-9). Therein we see the selfsame three categories as typified by the three sons of Noah.

The name of one is Shem, and it means "a name of renown": we might say, a name of prestige, or a name of fame. That answers to the one hundred-fold which the good seed brings forth, to eventually become the Bride of Christ (in other places referred to as the Firstfruits unto God and the Lamb [Rev. 14:4]). This is that group which will be caught up out of this world to meet our returning Lord in the air, where they shall ever be with Him. This group, which in allegoric language He is said to marry, becomes identified with Himself: they take on His Name, even as a wife takes the name of her husband. Therein is the meaning of Shem brought out: that is, a name of renown which this group enters into when they become the Bride of Christ, the Son of God.

Japheth means "an enlargement." This group answers to the sixty-fold which the good seed brought forth; but the way will be open for them to eventually go forward and enter into the perfection class which we may compare to the one hundred-fold. Therein do we see the name of Japheth, which means "to enlarge" or "increase": that is, to go forward into an enlarged capacity or increased degree of proximity to Christ our Lord (in the eon then opening).

When Noah blessed his sons and cursed his grandson (that is, the son of Ham), he said that Japheth should dwell in the tents of Shem and Canaan should be his servant (Gen. 9:25-27). This dwelling in the tents of Shem was God's way of telling us that the sixty-fold, or the Japheth group, should remain here on earth dwelling in the tents of Shem; that is, taking over that part or portion here on earth which had previously been occupied by Shem, or the one hundred-fold group. It is high time you wake up from the delusion that everyone who names the Name of Christ shall be taken out of this world to strum harps of gold on crystal streets, thus loafing away eternity. That is a delusion and a deceiving dream, from which I am trying to awaken you.

Then there was Noah's third son Ham, which means "black," and he had a son by the name of Canaan. This was a type of the third group of Christians, answering to the thirty-fold in the parable by our Lord. They are black because as yet they have not been washed from their sins. Clearly are we told in Scripture that those who have entered into the righteousness of God are clad in white linen (Rev. 19:8,14, 3:4-5, 7:9,13-14). Therefore, as black is the opposite to white, so does this show us those whose garments are still black with sin. Yes, I'm speaking of Christians so-called: that is, a group of Christians – namely, the thirty-fold. There are tens of millions of people today whom we call Christians, and who acknowledge Christ the Son of God, yet have never been born anew into the Kingdom of Christ our Lord. They have merely accepted intellectually the rightness of Christian ethics, and acknowledge Jesus of Nazareth as the Son of God Who came to earth to set a good example for man. And these too are among the unfortunately brainwashed ones who wait for pie in the sky after they die. But Noah prophesied that Canaan should be the servant of Japheth; yes, and even be a servant of servants. This again bespeaks an earthlife, and ministering capacity unto the sixty-fold, who also remain here on earth, and that they will also be sent out to minister to nonChristian nations (the servant of servants).

Subtract the number 30 of the thirty-fold from the number 100 of the hundred-fold, and you will see that they lack 70, which is the number of His Church in the Gentile nations. This is God's way of showing us that the thirty-fold has no part nor parcel in the Church of Christ.

In awe His TRUTH consider.
