"God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth." John 4:24

"From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." Matthew 4:17

"Another parable put He forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way." Matthew 13:24-25

"Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened, and the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon Him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art My beloved Son; in Thee I am well pleased. And Jesus Himself began to be about thirty years of age…." Luke 3:21-23

Good morning, friends! This day let the light of God's face shine into your life. And BRIGHT shall be your life this day if His light you have, and follow. Why not? It is such a joy; and a completely delightful experience.

Today let us turn back to the opening book of our Bible, where we read that immediately following the Creation of heaven and earth, God said, "LET THERE BE LIGHT" (Gen. 1:3). Of course, you have thought of that as the light we see because of our sun and moon and stars (Gen. 1:16-19). That is correct, but only a small portion of the truth. The above becoming of light was on the first day. Did you never read that the sun and moon and stars were not until the 4th day? Wherefore, of necessity we must understand the "light" of the first day as something different than that of the sun, moon and stars.

THAT has been and still continues to be the failing of our churches (even though they have done a wonderful work down through this "night" of darkness): that they have seen in God's Word but the casual – the merest face value – and there they have stopped, thus "limiting the Holy One of Israel." But, beloved, our stygian "night" is almost past; the golden rays of His glorious return have commenced to steal over the spiritual horizon: "day" is breaking; ROUSE – for a new day is at hand!

"Let there be LIGHT!" What a wonderful fiat. And there was LIGHT! Is it not high time we start singing and shouting? A NEW day is dawning; the horrors of darkness are fast dissipating, with its nightmare of blackness rapidly vanishing. Of such a morning is it written that the sons of God sang together for gladness of heart (Job 38:7).

If only I had a magic button to push that you could see as I see; you too would start singing and shouting for sheer joy of heart.

When God Almighty, on the first day of Creation said "Let there be LIGHT," and the light became, can you possibly imagine that there was any dark corner left – or even the slightest room for the darkness of gloom, for grief or unhappiness? My answer is an emphatic NO!

We are told that God is SPIRIT (Jn. 4:24); human eyes cannot see spirit. So, God has given us fire to symbolize spirit. In the darkness, fire emits light: it drives away the darkness.

Man was conceived and formed in darkness. When first he sees the light of day, it is to be received into the arms of LOVE, of care, of sustenance and protection.

THAT is the message God has for you today. Most of you who receive this message have also known the horror of a great darkness through your life, as you have been buffeted by the storms of fate – fumbling, stumbling, groping; trying again to find your feet, and, perhaps, set a new course, which you hope and pray may be better. From the multitude of letters I have received, I know that has been the lot of many.

Yet HEAR the word of Almighty God: "Let there be LIGHT!" And it is recorded, "THERE WAS LIGHT." That "light" was the light of God's SPIRIT in action: God was in manifestation; the Everliving God had become a BUILDER; He was planning to become a FATHER; He wanted all things in readiness for the many children He wanted to love.

Can you not see the parallel between that setting, and that of a mature man of today, who decides it is time to get a family of his own? He works hard to prepare a home – amply lit and furnished for the woman of his love, and the children he yearns to have. And in the light of that home – provided through his LOVE – there shall be no occasion of stumbling unto any of his. And in the light of his LOVE there will be joy and comfort, there will be abundance and protection and a deep moving peace.

Oh, to be sure – in the words of the immortal bard (Robert Burns): "The best laid plans o' mice an 'men gang aft agley." Man may plan and even try his best, but because of the great spiritual darkness which has ruled our world up to this moment, man's plans often lead to grief, disappointment, sorrow, disillusionment and eventual death.

But CONSIDER my word: God was not a man who lived and toiled in darkness. He didn't fumble, grope and stumble; but much to the contrary, He beheld His works and found them extremely GOOD.

God Almighty had gone into action: LIGHT He generated (what a power-station!) – no room was left for darkness to intrude. Therefore said also the Christ: "He who walks in the day has the light of day, and stumbles not" (Jn. 11:9-10). Jesus our Lord was speaking of the selfsame matter as I am now: the LIGHT of very God to guide our every step along the flood-lit path, reverberating to the JOYshouts of God's growing sons and daughters. In truth to you I witness: the glorious LIGHT of God through Jesus Christ again begins to enfold those tormented through the nightmare of a pitch black night. HEAR His Voice, and begin to SHOUT, for His LIGHT is fast becoming. The thick, rolling darkness fast is fleeing, and the sons and daughters of Jesus Christ commence to SING – for joy of heart!

It is written that when Jesus had about filled thirty years of age, He entered the baptismal waters – in preparation for His Spirit-powered ministry. LIGHT was to be generated as mortal eyes had never seen before. I remind you, He was a full thirty years of age – the age of induction to the priesthood (according to the Mosaic Law). Thirty is the number of the teacher, who has made contact with Truth, and is able to pass it on for the good and edification of others – into spiritual understanding.

Jesus commenced to preach, saying, "REPENT, for the Kingdom of God is at hand" (Matt. 4:17). Similarly do I bring you the same GLAD TIDINGS today by repeating His words: "REPENT, for the Kingdom of God is at very hand!" And indeed I mean it, and that in more ways than one. Not only is the Son of God about to return to earth to establish a Kingdom in love, in truth and in righteousness, that all who wish may enter to enjoy the fruits thereof; but I have even BETTER news for you, for the HERE and for the NOW – yes, indeed, for YOU, very personally: not a figure of speech, but an actual fact.

My Lord has let me in on a secret: a very real KEY unto great JOY, unto increased success and ever-increasing happiness so real and intense and so growing in depth and volume that you may find it difficult to contain. And I mean it! It is even a very tangible KEY that you can see, that you can feel and even taste; a KEY for you personally to use that NOW you may commence to enter into the Kingdom-joys of Jesus Christ. I repeat: for the HERE and for your NOW!

Get paper and pencil ready that you may make notes of instructions I am about to give. No, don't jump to silly conclusions; I have nothing to sell you at a price. I will not be telling you that I have a magic "key" or amulet which costs a lot of money to make, and for which you must pay heavily; NO, nothing of the kind. But it is a fact that Jesus Christ revealed to His chosen ones a very real secret unto the Kingdom-JOYS for the here and for the NOW. However, as they were called home when their labors were ended, an "enemy stole in to sow the tares" (Matt. 13:24-25) – which since have grown to fill the entire field of Christendom. Because the tare-seed is a slow-acting but pernicious poison, Christendom has been getting SICK and sickER and deathly SICK – until it is now on the verge of a suicide.

YOU too have eaten of that tare-seed, and as a result you are spiritually BLIND. You have swallowed the half-truths and particle-truths and outright UNtruths which Lucifer sowed in the field of this world, until now you are blind and filled with hallucinations. Therefore has your life often been from pillar to post, as they say, and to you the "rat race" grim has grown. But now I entreat you to start pushing UP the corners of your mouth; then look in the mirror to see how much nicer the reflection beams at you. Not only can you start to smile, but you can safely start to laugh; for, the Kingdom of Jesus Christ is for the HERE, and for YOUR NOW. And I personally have the commission to help you; yes, to help YOU personally, by presenting you with a very real something, which, if you will faithfully use according to instructions, you will find it like a golden KEY unto increasing SUCCESS and great happiness. What is more, it will even be a KEY unto better health and strength. Not a key to cost you a lot of money, neither sacrifice, but a "key" that will in many a case actually save you money as you learn to use it. In many cases, that does not take very long.

As you may well understand, there are no magic words I can share with you. But there are a great many things that you must be told, and simple instructions to be followed. These must be in printed form – lest you forget. Therefore, you may order The Kingdom Keys. And, in The Kingdom Keys you will be given explicit instructions on how you may embark upon a NEW LIFE of ever-increasing joy and achievement.

No doubt there will be those who order The Kingdom Keys who may remain as glum and unsuccessful as ever before. But remember when Jesus the Christ was crucified, there were still sick and blind people in the land. WHY? Because they had not believed: they had disregarded Him. And so similarly now; there are those who will not believe, and who will disregard my plea and instructions.

Now, as we continue to read from Genesis 1, we see wherein God called the light DAY and the darkness He called NIGHT; and we are told that was the first day (Gen. 1:5). But did you ever suppose that God was an earthling, sleeping through the night and rejoicing in the warmth of the morning sun? I must remind you that the "first day" was long before the fourth day, when we are first told that God made the sun, the moon and stars; and even five days previous to His creating Adam. So I repeat my question: for WHOM was there either night or day?

Can you not see with me that God, being a SPIRIT, was speaking of spiritual darkness, which darkness and lack of understanding He named NIGHT? But when the LIGHT of God-in-action had wrought its work, to the banishing of all spiritual darkness, putting in its place a spiritual UNDERSTANDING, that was good and pleasing in the sight of God. Thus He saw that His works were good – even marvelously GOOD!

Don't let yourself stumble over the fact that man had at that time not been created. Man is of the earth. God is a Spirit. By this time He had begotten a multitude of spirits. It was the LIGHT and understanding He wrought for them that He rejoiced over. The physical earth and man upon it, together with the darkness and the daylight – all of that was but an earthly creation He wrought in the pattern of the spiritual.

It need not cost you anything to TEST my word. I have immense confidence, for I KNOW Him Who has spoken to me, Who has given me a commission, and revealed the secret unto the Kingdom-JOYS for the here and for the now. I am eager that you too may share in these JOYS; they can be YOURS just as easily as they are mine. THEN will you understand the meaning of His words in Genesis: "…the darkness He called NIGHT. And the evening and the morning were the first DAY" (1:5). And what a bright and joyous DAY you will find it to be!
