"Thou, O king, sawest, and behold a great image.... This image's head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass, his legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay. …Thou art this head of gold." Daniel 2:31-33,38

"And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the Mount Sion, and with Him an hundred forty and four thousand, having His Father's Name written in their foreheads." Revelation 14:1

Greetings, friends, and by the grace of our God may this day be one of the happiest days you have ever known!

The Voice of Tomorrow deals with the things which are to be tomorrow, and also explains the things of today in relationship to our tomorrow. It was only a few decades ago that we were all agog over the exciting developments in the adventures of our space twins, Gary Cooper and Charles Conrad. I believe you will find it of interest to look at their adventure through my eyes; but before doing so, it might be well to first look at a page from the Word of God, which speaks of these days in which we live, and of the things which are coming to pass upon the earth.

If your Bible is convenient, turn to Luke 21:24. Here we find that the Lord was speaking of the signs of the times, and what the particular signs were to be as indicating certain eras and impending events. Here He started talking about the Jews of His day, whom, He said,

"…shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory."

First, let us look at this "times of the Gentiles" expression by our Lord, that we may better understand exactly what He was talking about. In a general way of speaking, the Gentiles have always ruled the world, but here our Lord was speaking of Jerusalem. We find as we turn back the pages of history, that Israel was led out of Egypt by Moses, and later into the land of promise under the hand of Joshua. Palestine was conquered, or at least most of it, and worship of the true God was eventually established in Jerusalem. This carried on for a little more than 700 years until the armies of Nebuchadnezzar overran Palestine, burned Jerusalem with fire and destroyed the Temple. We are also shown in the Daniel prophecies how the selfsame King Nebuchadnezzar was that "head of gold" of the entire Gentile setup (Dan. 2:37-38). So, since our Lord was speaking of Jerusalem being trodden down by the Gentiles, we must take the time that the armies of Nebuchadnezzar destroyed the Temple.

Historians are not in perfect agreement, but there is a general agreement that the destruction of Jerusalem took place in 586 or 587 B.C. Others give years close to those, but judging by the best evidence available, it seems quite certain that Jerusalem's destruction did take place in either 586 or 87 B.C., to which we add the times of the Gentiles. According to the Daniel prophecies, this is quite clearly stated to be a period of seven years. So to understand this prophetic measure for the Gentile world, we must apply that standard as shown us by God through Moses, wherein one day becomes representative of one year (Num. 14:34). Therefore, when we take our solar year of 365 and about ¼ days, multiplied by 7, we get a total of 2,556 days and a small fraction. So, we call these days years, giving us that period of 2,556 years from about 586 or 87 B.C. You write down those figures on paper for yourself, and regardless of how you figure it, you will find that the said years of the Gentiles treading down Jerusalem expired in the opening of the decade of the 70's. It could be in 1970, 71 or 72, but the particular year we arrive at is not too important; the important thing for us to see was that Gentile power in Jerusalem was to come to an end. [Editor's Note: How intriguing to consider that in October of 1973, Egypt and Syria attacked Israel on their sacred day of Yom Kippur in an effort to regain territory occupied by Israel since the Six-Day War of 1967.]

As I keep telling you, the error of Christendom's priesthoods has been precisely the same as that of ancient Israel: we have "limited the Holy One of Israel" (Ps. 78:41). Now with reference to this prophecy of the Gentiles treading down Jerusalem, the average Christian of today is prone to say something like this, "Well, if the year and day is close at hand that the Jews are to be in complete power in Jerusalem, well, so what?" But, my beloved, the situation is vastly different. You see, to the average person, to the average minister and priest of today, the Gentiles treading down of Jerusalem means merely that. We have failed to understand that Jerusalem stands for something immensely more than just a city in Palestine.

Jerusalem is the city of the great King and Jerusalem means `the city of peace.' And being the city of the great King implies the rulership by the Messiah of God; that is, Jesus Christ, Who will ordain Jerusalem as the central government of the entire world. Therefore, when the Lord spoke of Jerusalem being trodden down by the Gentiles throughout that era allotted to the Gentiles, He meant more than merely the fact for the Jews that they would be kept out of their dominion until that time. For when the Gentiles no longer would tread down Jerusalem, that would foreshadow that Gentile supremacy would come to an end in this world, and that the people of God will rule the world through the power of Jesus Christ. That means that there are a lot of things going to happen, and mighty soon – terrifically great things! For of necessity, there will be titanic and devastating war to such a fearsome degree that Gentile powers will destroy themselves.

Now let us look again at the prophecy: "...there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring" (Lk. 21:25).

Never before in the history of man has there been such distress among the nations as we see today. But the more important part of the Lord's prophecy is that word "perplexity" with "the sea and the waves roaring." Nations have always had their troubles, but today nations are having their internal problems which put them into a state of perplexity; there are problems so great we are dealing with, that the best minds of our nations are not able to successfully cope with them.

Don't kid yourself that our leaders aren't trying their very best to cope with these problems. Both parties have had their headaches, and if they knew how to handle them and solve the problems, they certainly would have done so long ago. We read of similar distressing conditions in other lands. The "sea and the waves roaring" is symbolic language for multitudes and for nations in uproar. So when we see these conditions being to the front today, which have never been recorded in previous human history, and we add that fact to the situation that we have only another small handful of years left to go, then we must realize that we are living in highly significant times.

Now let us look briefly at these "space twins," and their successful venture into space, circling the earth for eight days, and coming back to earth safe and sound. Their craft was known as Gemini 5. Gemini is the name of the constellation of the twins. This constellation of the twins was set in the heavens, being God's way of showing us that it is according to His plan that two groups of people are going to live in the air, traveling around with the earth.

Long ago I set forth the significance of the probers we sent to the moon and later to Mars; then our most successful experiment came through two of our own men circling the earth for a period of eight days. One of them had circled our earth previously. Similarly is it going to be with the two groups of people that God is going to call out of the earth to live in the atmosphere: one of those groups is going to be called out much ahead of time, or previous to the other. So we see by the feat of those astronauts, that the same truth was portrayed in that Gary Cooper had previously circled the earth.

Eight days. What does that mean to you? Man having become spiritually blind throughout this "night of darkness," fails to understand how God is talking to us through those events and numbers. God ordered Noah to build an ark for the preservation of life upon the earth. Noah means `peace,' or we might say `rest' as the better word for it, but there can be no rest without an absolute peace. Did you ever stop to realize that there were precisely eight people who went aboard Noah's ark (Gen. 7:13)? Now, those "space twins" stayed aloft eight days. Eight is God's number of regeneration. Neither will there be anyone taken up into the atmosphere who has not been regenerated by the Spirit of Christ. That craft had been labeled Gemini 5. Did you ever know that the number 5 is God's number of grace, or rather, of His freedom-setting power? Naturally, those two groups of people, who are going to be circling the earth and with the earth, can only do so through the grace of God. Thereby, we see how the number 5 attached to the name of the capsule is also prophetic.

And here is another interesting observation: you will find that from the time of the blastoff until they were being picked up by the copter crew, was an even 120 hours. Multiply that by the 60 minutes of the hour, and we get 7,200 minutes; but there were two men, so since there were 7,200 minutes by each man, that makes 14,400 minutes for the two. Please write down that number 14,400 and you will see that it is lacking only one cipher to being the 144,000 which Christ our Lord is going to call out of this world. In the mathematics of God and His language of numbers, we find STEPS: that is, multiples of ten. Every multiple by 10 steps up its "power" (symbolically): as from man to the nation, from the nation to the world; or, from the physical to the spiritual. Therefore, as we saw our "space twins" put in 14,400 minutes until the copter crew got to them, we are expected to understand its PROPHECY for His Church, which is in the higher "power" of 10.

God is leaving no stone un-turned to warn this generation that our last grain of sand is almost spilled. In these very days (yes, in YOUR days) the heavens are going to light up with the glory of the returning SON OF GOD. Are YOU prepared for that moment?

THAT is why God has asked me to "Call His people together." HEAR the CALL: "COME UNTO ME, ALL YE THAT LABOR AND ARE HEAVY LADEN, AND I WILL GIVE YOU REST" (Matt. 11:28).

THAT is the wonderful and gracious promise by the Christ. I personally have found it true; yes, more than true. And indeed, His yoke is an easy one, and the weight to bear is so light – when the glory of His face shines into one's life. Has that been YOUR wonderful experience? Do you meet every day with a shout of joy? Is life a wonderfully thrilling experience for you? It should be; and IT CAN BE! Is your every effort a success? Do you go from one success to another PEAK of achievement? Why not? THAT is the "birthright" and intended destiny of every son and daughter of Jesus Christ.

Far too long has Christendom been snoring through this stygian night, muttering in the stupor of sleep. You have been taught to believe that you must expect hell here on earth in order to enjoy heaven AFTER you are dead! What a horrible perversion of the glorious truth taught by the Christ. In the words I just quoted to you, He said, "...and ye shall find REST unto your souls" (verse 29). Does that sound like the rat race Christendom endures today? I call you to AWARENESS; I call you to the feet of my Lord – that His hand may rise to bless you, and BLESS YOU ABUNDANTLY – that you may know a deep peace within, and SUCCESS or achievement in all your doings. YES, beloved, THAT is your immediate BIRTHRIGHT so soon as you become a son or daughter of Jesus Christ. (I am not talking about a spiritual concept named "Christ," but about JESUS Christ.) And IF you do not know Him as your Father, and IF you have not received His "KEYS to the Kingdom" for the HERE and for our NOW, it is high time you wake up. I warn you that when the megaton bombs begin to drop, it will be on the late side for you to get prepared.

TODAY I am "calling His people together." Get PREPARED for the day close to hand when the world will go mad. His Keys to the Kingdom joys for the HERE and for the NOW, has He given me. And what I have I will share with you – without asking you for a dollar. I only suggest that you decide now to give yourself a chance: faithfully test out the Kingdom Keys throughout a period of forty days. With all that within me is I assure you: IF in sincerity you do, you will forever BLESS the day you made the start. It is JOY indescribable; it is SUCCESS "out of this world," and a serene PEACE – which is never ruffled.
