"And God said, Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness...." Genesis 1:26

"And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him." Revelation 12:9

Greetings, friends! Let me assure you that this day is going to be one of the most wonderful days of your entire life, if you will carefully hear my word and act accordingly. I have in mind to refresh your memory as to the secret of being very happy and successful throughout this day; it is the same which I shared previously, but today with an extra portion added. In the meanwhile you might look up the Book of Revelation (the last one in your Bible), chapter 12, from which I want to quote shortly. I also want to remind you of some of the basic premises of my teachings; and I can assure you my teachings are Bible-founded. Not only are they Bible-founded, but when put to practice, they actually work.

Recently I was reading a letter from one of my students who had been with me perhaps about one year. He made a rather lengthy report covering about two and half pages, which I shall not take the time to quote, but I will touch on a few of its highlights. He went on to say that because of my teachings, he had been enabled to contact the power of God to the extent that he had been set up in business without money and without price. By that he meant that he had no money to invest, neither any agreement to sign which would bind him to paying out money in the future. A business institution in his city came to him and made him an offer; after some thought and prayer he accepted. He went on to say that in the past it was difficult to ever have a hundred dollars in his pocket, while now he finds it just as difficult to not have a hundred dollars in his pocket. When perpetually, and over a period of time, I receive hundreds of such letters of a similar nature, although varying much in detail, then I am forced to realize that the truthteachings of Jesus Christ do work for human beings, here and now.

Now let me read to you from Revelation 12:7-11:
"And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, and prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death."

Now to refresh your memory about that little secret I have shared, which also links in with this Scripture I just quoted. This is what you do: as you are about to commence your day, or as you rise up after you read this, raise your right hand slightly and speak these words (or your own words which mean the same): "Lord Jesus, please take my hand and lead me throughout this entire day. Lord, I am too blind to see my way clearly, and too dumb to know what is for my best. Therefore, You do the leading and the guiding, and I won't do even as much as back seat driving. I know that then You will keep and bless me throughout this day."

That's it, even if you think it is crazy. But look at those words in Revelation 12:11: "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony...." The sorry fact remains that it is Lucifer who is the prince of this world (Jn. 12:31, 14:30), while Christendom has come down through a long night of spiritual darkness during which no one has seen enough to be able to work effectively for the Master (Jn. 9:4). In fact, most of Christendom, including the Lord's servants, have been fast asleep, only muttering in the stupor of sleep. Man has believed in sickness, trouble, and tragedy multiplied, believing that all those difficulties were his to endure; hoping that in some future time and a world unknown, his "soul" might be "saved" and find happiness, strumming a golden harp on streets of crystal glass, thus loafing away eternity. Yes, man has a soul, and there is also a spiritual world, concerning which man knows next to nothing of. But hear my word: that world is not what man is supposed to be concerned about.

Hear The Voice of Tomorrow: on this earth God planted a garden, and He placed therein a primitive pair. He gave them almost perfect freedom, and saw to it that their conditions were that of an absolute paradise. In fact, they lived in paradise! Now although this may be deeply symbolic language, telling us in God's way of great mysteries, as well as history out of the distant past, nevertheless, the Edenic narrative is basically correct. But as you are well aware, that primitive pair disobeyed the Word of God, and, as a result, entered into pain, suffering, hard labor, disillusionment, sorrow, and ultimate death.

Now momentarily hold that picture in your mind's eye, and consider the story of man's creation when God said, "Let Us make man in Our image [and] after Our Own likeness..." (Gen. 1:26). In other words, human beings are in the form and fashion of God, and also after His likeness: that is, by nature we are exactly the same as God. However, we should bear in mind that applied in its fullness to the primitive pair. We cannot very well take a criminal of today, or a degenerate, or some one sadistic and abnormal and say that God is like that. All of such hellish propensities found in man are the consequence of sin. But when we look at a prince among men – the noblest that the human race brings forth – and we take careful stock of that nature, then, at least in a measure, we know God.

Now let us come back in thought to the primitive pair, who had disobeyed the Voice of God. As a consequence they were driven out of that beautiful garden the Lord had prepared for them, and they took with them also the sentence, or judgment, which God had handed down. Now, transpose that situation to human beings and conditions here on earth as we know them today. To do so, we take a human father, even as fine a prince among men as we can find. He has a son and daughter for whom he has undertaken lavishly. But after they have come of age, they get ideas of their own: they disobey their father and seriously disappoint him. Because their offense was so serious, he drives them out of his home and off his estate. But bearing in mind what I said, that this father is as fine a prince among men as we can find on earth, could we not then rightly suppose that such a father would spend much time and thought, and plan how he could bring those children to understand and into a full repentance, which would ultimately justify his taking them back onto the estate, unto his home and into his arms? I have confidence that would be the obsessing thought and problem in the mind of any truly good and normal human parent. If that is a correct statement, and I have confidence you will agree with me, then that was the predominant thought of God Almighty, after the primitive pair had fallen into the trap set by Lucifer.

That is why Calvary was planned thousands of years ago. We might go so far as to say that God could have no rest until His plan had been completed, and every detail thereof attended to, which would ultimately restore His children into His Own bosom, and that with much added.

That is why the Son of God left the Throne of glory to incarnate in the Babe of the manger. That is why He lived the perfection life, without sin and without fault, before the Father's allseeing eye. That is why "His face was set like a flint" (in the words of the ancient Prophet [Isa. 50:7]) "to go up to Jerusalem," and meet His rendezvous with death (Lk. 9:51-53). That is why He was determined to enter into the hour of darkness, and take the worst, and all that the enemy could throw at Him.

Although you may not understand its mystery, yet it can easily be explained. Maybe you cannot fathom how the sacrifice by the Son of God could atone for your sins, but that it did. Even that is easily explained, when we turn upon it the searchlight of spirit. But ever since the glory of that heavenly Sun set upon the Cross of Calvary, darkness engulfed the world, and a night of spiritual darkness set in. Lucifer has been the prince of this realm, and that is why we see a world going mad and into destruction, because as I read to you, the Devil – even Satan – has deceived the whole world (Rev. 12:9).

Did you notice those words, "deceived the whole world"? Observe, it doesn't say that Satan had deceived nonChristian nations; it doesn't say that the Devil had deceived those who fail to attend church. Observe that the Word of God does not make the slightest exception, but emphatically proclaims, "the world was deceived." And of that I keep reminding you, that "while men slept," according to the prophecy of our Lord, "the enemy would sow the tare-seed" (Matt. 13:25), and the Lord again prophesied that as a result thereof, at the conclusion of our era, returning to earth, He would search high and low and fail to find the faith on earth (Lk. 18:8). You see, beloved, the Word of God fits like hand in glove, so soon as we take off our dark glasses, and put together the pieces so as to make a complete picture.

Now back to the secret of success and happiness for this day, and for every day henceforth, even though in these brief talks I can only give you little hints and minor helps. But for those who seek the fullness of the light of Christ, and the richness of His blessing upon your life from day to day, I have prepared the Kingdom Keys study, which can be used for our here and now.

As to the present secret, or that magic charm, as it were, that will make the sunshine of God light up your path, bear in mind how you are to commence the day. But having spoken those words, don't make the mistake of quickly forgetting them! The words by themselves have no magic power. The entire sincerity of your spirit must be behind them, as well as manifest throughout the day. Whenever the moment arrives that there is uncertainty in your mind, or perplexity, or a tendency to vexation, or concern in any way whatsoever, come back to the basic thought of the secret I have told you, and to that you add at that moment, "God is here; my precious Lord, You take charge of this moment, that every hour of this day shall be to the praise of Your Name."

Whatever the occasion, no matter how trivial, turn it over completely to the presence and the power of our Lord and Savior, Who lives in this moment; Who is the absolute King of that spiritual Kingdom He superimposed upon this world before His departure to the heavenly throne. When once we have been born into the Kingdom of Jesus Christ, and live as His sons and daughters, then I can assure you with all that within me is, that no hour, no situation can possibly come upon us which Christ our Lord does not hold in the palm of His hand, and can fully control to your complete rejoicing.

Again back to the words which I read to you: when the dragon, or the Devil, is cast out – even Satan, who has deceived the entire world – I repeat, when he is cast out, when he is cast down, then the brethren overcome him "...by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony...." Although I fully recognize that those words are prophetic of a future event which is to take place in the heavens, affecting the whole world, nevertheless, the Word of God is true in an absolute totality, regardless of how we look at it, so long as we remain rational. If the Devil can be cast out of heaven by the power of God, unto the rejoicing of those who belong to the Lord, then is it equally as possible for you and me right here and now to boot out the Devil and overcome him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony! My dearly beloved, I can assure you through personal experience, and from many letters received, that the power of our Christ is fully equal to booting the Devil out of your life right here and now.

Previously I have shared about that "piercing serpent, even the dragon that dwells in the sea" (Isa. 27:1). I intended to give you its connected prophecy, but couldn't squeeze it in. So here it comes now: we are told that on Christ's return, He will slay that dragon. IF you have a large-scale map of our land and surrounding waters, look carefully. Soon you will spot that dragon – dwelling in the sea – almost on our doorstep. Geographically, it is Communist Cuba. That indicates that we may see Communism survive and thrive in Cuba, with its fang poised, spreading its lethal poison in the Caribbean. If so, then not until the personal return of Jesus Christ to earth would we see the total destruction of Communist Cuba.

Because of these things coming to pass, YOU need to be a son or daughter of Jesus Christ, that you may have His JOY, and protecting hand about you.
