II Corinthians 4:5-7
"For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."
Lesson 78: GREAT DELIVERANCE NOW!
"Go, and gather the elders of Israel together, and say unto them, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared unto me, saying, I have surely visited you, and seen that which is done to you in Egypt: and I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt unto the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, unto a land flowing with milk and honey." Exodus 3:16-17
"And the LORD said unto Moses, `Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh; lo, he cometh forth to the water; and say unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Let My people go, that they may serve Me. Else, if thou wilt not let My people go, behold, I will send swarms of flies upon thee, and upon thy servants, and upon thy people, and into thy houses: and the houses of the Egyptians shall be full of swarms of flies, and also the ground whereon they are. And I will sever in that day the land of Goshen, in which My people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there; to the end thou mayest know that I am the LORD in the midst of the earth. And I will put a division between My people and thy people: tomorrow shall this sign be." Exodus 8:20-23
"And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days: they saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days: but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings." Exodus 10:22-23
"And Moses stretched forth his rod toward heaven: and the LORD sent thunder and hail, and the fire ran along upon the ground; and the LORD rained hail upon the land of Egypt. So there was hail, and fire mingled with the hail, very grievous, such as there was none like it in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation. And the hail smote throughout all the land of Egypt all that was in the field, both man and beast; and the hail smote every herb of the field, and brake every tree of the field. Only in the land of Goshen, where the children of Israel were, was there no hail." Exodus 9:23-26
"Behold, the hand of the LORD is upon thy cattle which is in the field, upon the horses, upon the asses, upon the
camels, upon the oxen, and upon the sheep: there shall be a very grievous murrain. And the LORD shall sever between the cattle
of Israel and the cattle of Egypt: and there shall nothing die of all that is the children's of Israel.
And the LORD appointed a set time, saying, Tomorrow the LORD shall do this thing in the land. And the LORD did
that thing on the morrow, and all the cattle of Egypt died: but of the cattle of the children of Israel died not one.
And Pharaoh sent, and, behold, there was not one of the cattle of the Israelites dead. And the heart of Pharaoh was
hardened, and he did not let the people go."
Exodus 9:3-7
Greetings, beloved of God! A message of peace and joy I bring to you, for Christ our Lord and soon-coming King spoke to me on June 22, 1965, saying, "Call My people together." After a brief pause, and for emphasis, He repeated, "Call My people together." Therefore I say, the message I bring is one of glad tidings of exceptionally good things, which should fill your heart with peace and joy! Don't you know that every true servant of Christ our Lord has nothing – no, never anything – but the very happiest of news of marvelously good things – unto all who are sons or daughters of Jesus Christ? It cannot be otherwise. Unto everyone that has been begotten anew by faith in Jesus Christ, our Lord has become a Father, and as a Father He is responsible for His children. Like unto any other normal and good father, He watches over them, He provides for them, He shelters them, and to the utmost of His capacity does He undertake for their good and future welfare. Therefore, I bid you rejoice, and rejoice again, for great and powerful is our Lord and Father, and gracious is He Who has begotten us anew into the Kingdom of Jesus Christ!
Today I want to quote out of the Old Testament, to show you a little more detail of how God pictured the fate of Christendom through living dramas He wrought by His people Israel. I suggest you have paper and pencil convenient that you may take down a few numbers which I will give you a little later, that you may better understand the prophecy involved, which speaks even of our very days. And I will also quote one verse from the seventh chapter of Exodus (which is the second book of the Bible).
Moses was the great deliverer who also gave unto the people the Law of commandments; Aaron his brother was the Priest and Prophet of God. In Exodus 7:7 we read:
"And Moses was fourscore years old, and Aaron fourscore and three years old, when they spake unto Pharaoh."
At that time all the seed of Jacob were in bondage to Pharaoh, king of Egypt (where they had been 430 years). God had heard the cry of the oppressed: He looked upon their distress with compassion. So, He determined to deliver them. As a consequence, He spoke to Moses out of the burning bush, and sent him into Egypt to accomplish the deliverance of His people. He also spoke to Aaron to become their Priest and Prophet; the name means "to enlighten." This was another way of telling us that through enlightenment, or an understanding of the laws of His Kingdom, we enter into deliverance from all bondage to the kingdom of Lucifer, and are freed from all oppression. Egypt means "confinement," or that land which is "hemmed in," being a land of restriction. Thus we see how the very names involved tell us of man's limitations and strenuous labors in this world which is ruled over by Lucifer (who was typified by Pharaoh of Egypt). Yet through the meaning of the names and the living drama shown us, we are expected to understand that as and when we become truly enlightened about the laws of the Kingdom, then there is a swift and absolute deliverance for us through the power of our Almighty God.
I started out by reminding you how God had spoken to me saying, "Call My people together." I trust you have realized the connection: that is, the connection between this message God gave me and the message He gave unto Moses in the long ago, when He sent him into Egypt to "call together the elders of Israel," that they might know their deliverance was at hand (Ex. 3:16-17). That is a part of that joyous message I have for you, even the glad tidings of marvelously good things: that now the time is at hand when God has decreed that His people are to be delivered! There is a twofold deliverance before us: first, it is an individual deliverance through those mighty secrets I teach as typified by Moses through Aaron: that is, the true enlightenment or understanding of the spiritual laws of the Kingdom which, when kept, lead to the swift and absolute deliverance for the individual here and now – deliverance from all oppression and bondage to the Lucifer-Pharaoh of this world. While this second deliverance is for the world at large and for Christendom in particular, because those glorious days are upon us when Jesus Christ shall return from Heaven in the glory and the power of His Father, followed by the host of Heaven, to bring war to an end, troubles to a close, oppression to a conclusion; setting up His government on earth to establish peace, and conditions of justice, reigning in righteousness, that the heart of His every citizen may overflow with great joy!!
When God spoke to Moses to gather the elders of Israel, calling His people together, that was the heralding message: that great deliverance was at hand. So, when He spoke to me to call His people together, I know thereby that great deliverance is at hand. That is why I bid you rejoice, and rejoice without measure, because soon the heavens and earth shall light up with the glory of the returning Son of God, coming in flaming fire to consume the wicked, and those who obey not the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ (II Thess. 1:7-8). What wonderful days these are in which to live! I cannot imagine any greater, because most of you shall live to see those events. We are so near to their transpiry that most alive today shall see them, except for those who already have one foot in the grave, and except for those who are destined to be consumed in the plagues and disasters which will overtake large portions of the world just previous to our Lord's coming. The ten plagues or catastrophes brought upon the land of Egypt at the word of Moses, just before the children of Israel were delivered, were prophetic types of the end-time disasters which the world at large will experience shortly previous to our Lord's return. Yet that should not dismay the heart of the Christian who is a son or daughter of Jesus Christ, for we are shown by the Old Testament account how God separated between the children of Israel and the Egyptians, so that except for the first few plagues, Israel was not affected. Therefore rejoice, because Christ our King today is also well able to draw, and surely will draw, a line of separation between the children of Lucifer's kingdom and those Christians who have been born anew into the Kingdom of our Lord and Savior.
Now let us take a brief look at the prophecy which we find in that seventh verse I quoted a while back. We cannot separate the Word of God from that of prophecy, for that is the wonder of God's wisdom – that He reveals the end at the very beginning. Now, we are told that Moses was 80 years old. Write down that number 80, and directly underneath it write the age of Aaron, which we are told was 83 years; adding the two you will have 163 years. Repeatedly I show you how we change from a nation to that of the world by multiplying by 10. Ten is also the number of the Gentiles. If you would carefully study the following chapters, you would also find that God through Moses brought exactly 10 plagues upon Pharaoh's Egypt. So, we multiply the age of Moses and Aaron by 10, and we have 1,630 years, which we add to the time that the Gentiles accepted the Law of Moses, and the priesthood of Moses, and the priesthood of Jesus Christ (Who was typified by Aaron). It may be difficult for us to pinpoint the exact year when that took place according to God's perspective. But we will not be far off if we use the years recorded by history when Rome – then the mistress of the world – accepted Christianity as the state religion, under decrees by the emperors Galerius and Constantine in the years 311 and 313 A.D. So, when we write down under 1,630, which you now have on your paper, the years 311 or 313, it adds up to the year 1941 or 1943 A.D. That was the prophetic portent of the ages of Moses and Aaron when they stood before Pharaoh, warning him that God was prepared to bring great tribulation and disasters upon him, until he would be happy to let the children of Israel depart from his land. But observe, as at that time when Moses and Aaron stood before Pharaoh, those great ten plagues had not commenced. Israel was not delivered until sometime later. (1941 to 1945 were the years of World War II, which also prepared the way for Jewish immigration to Israel and its rebirth in 1948.)
Repeatedly and carefully have I studied the next few chapters of Exodus which detail those plagues, but I find it absolutely impossible to determine the precise number of days involved, or the exact time which elapsed between that day when Moses and Aaron stood before Pharaoh, until the day that all of Israel departed from Egypt. One of the plagues occupied seven days (Ex. 7:25), and another plague occupied three days (Ex. 10:22-23), but the record in some instances makes it very difficult to determine how much time elapsed between one plague and that of the next. In some instances it appears quite clear, while in others we can only guess at it. Therefore, it would be but speculation to determine an accurate additive of time from these accounts alone. Wherever we look at the prophetic Word of God, it concurs in this message that we are now in the very last years of this dispensation, when the balance of prophecy is going to be fulfilled, and Christ our Lord consummates this age by His world-rocking return to earth!
What happier news could I bring of good things, than the most joyous message that Christ our Lord is looking down from the Throne in Heaven, preparing for His descent to earth? I can think of only one thing more marvelous than this (insofar as you are individually concerned), and that is the almost unbelievably good news that right now – even here and now – you may commence living as a citizen in Christ's spiritual Kingdom, which He superimposed upon this world before His ascent into Heaven. As the glorified Lord lifted up His hands to bless, and commenced to ascend (Lk. 24:50-51), at that same moment He did superimpose upon our world that spiritual and glorious Kingdom of His.
That was the blessing of the glorified Christ. It might be difficult for me to satisfy you completely from Scripture that this took place, but you will be satisfied and convinced in an absolute totality through personal experience if, as, and when you come into possession of the Keys to the Kingdom and commence to use them. Then will you find that your life transforms from a funeral dirge into a happy wedding march! Then will your tears be wiped away, and your desperate struggles cease; then will you quit worrying; all gloom will depart from you; then will you start to rejoice and sing from morning to sunset, because Christ your King has everything in the palm of His Hand, and has prepared for every one of His true children conditions of peace and great joy!
Did He not say, "Come unto Me...ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest" (Matt. 11:28)? Wherever we look, there is the selfsame happy news of wonderfully good things. That, in fact, is the very meaning of the Greek which has been rendered "Gospel," but which to the average person means absolutely nothing. The Greek word means "glad tidings of wonderfully good things," and that is the message of Christ our Lord unto every one of His; and is also that message which He has commissioned me to commence heralding unto the world. The night of great spiritual darkness is fast closing, because even now the rays of the returning Daystar are spilling over the spiritual horizon of this world. Shake yourself and stretch, that you may come to life for a new day. Prepare yourself, for on the wings of the morning shall return to earth the Lord of lords and the King of kings! Your time is short to get fully prepared: unless you are, you cannot enter into the fullness of that glorious lot which He has prepared for those who love Him. Look not to the camp of Lucifer and the tactics he has taught his citizens, but look to Jesus Christ, and that fullness of truth He revealed to His disciples, which now I have the privilege to set before the world. And when you know that Truth, you shall find it true what Christ our Lord said in the days of His flesh: "He whom the Son sets free is free indeed" (Jn. 8:36)...TRULY FREE!
Know you not that you are FREE-born?
Then start thinking and acting accordingly!
