II Corinthians 4:5-7

"For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."

"…and out of His mouth went a sharp twoedged sword…." Revelation 1:16

"And the same day, when the even was come, He saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side. And they came over unto the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes. And when He was come out of the ship, immediately there met Him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit, who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains. But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped Him, and cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with Thee, Jesus, Thou Son of the Most High God? I adjure Thee by God, that Thou torment me not. For He said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit. And He asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many. And he besought Him much that He would not send them away out of the country. Now there was there nigh unto the mountains a great herd of swine feeding. And all the devils besought Him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them. And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea (they were about two thousand), and were choked in the sea." Mark 4:35, 5:1-3,6-13

Good Morning, friends, and truly a good morning it can be, and good throughout the entire day to you who are the children of the living God!

Lately I have been spending much time speaking to you of the kingdom of God for earthlings here and now, instead of waiting for it until after we are dead, keeping fingers crossed that we may achieve it in the distant and uncertain tomorrow. Although I consider that a subject of terrific importance, there are also other important matters dealt with in the Bible; therefore, all of our time should not be spent in dealing with the kingdom joys for the here and now. We were shown by the Revelator that a two-edged sword proceeded from the mouth of the Christ. In other words, everything He speaks has two edges. The first edge is that of His Word of Truth unto our edification and eventual salvation, while the second edge is that of prophecy.

Prophecy is that which establishes the authority of the Word of God; that is, it proves that it is the Word of God. As up to the moment, our spiritual leaders have occasionally dealt with such prophecies as that of Daniel, Isaiah and others. Such prophecies are apparent to all as being prophecies. But Christ our Lord said that "the scribe instructed unto the kingdom of God, brings forth from his storehouse treasures both new and old" (Matt. 13:52). That is the commission I received from God a great many years ago – to bring out of the storehouse of God, treasures new unto the people. Therefore have I spent these many years to show unto the world how the most casual saying, the parables, the miracles and even the conduct of the Christ, constituted detailed prophecy for the days to come and for the generations unborn, stretching even into our days, as well as into future eons. When then we view these hidden prophecies – how many of them have been fulfilled in detail, at precisely the time that the prophetic time measures indicate, and we see others fulfilling in our day accordingly – then we know that it was the Spirit of the Eternal God behind those words and works, which could enact in drama veiled prophecies to speak to us of today.

Recently, I chose the 4th and 5th chapters of Mark's Gospel to show you how the Lord had spoken eight parables unto the multitudes while He was in a boat out on the water, and then how at evening time He said unto His disciples, "Let us pass over unto the other side," while the multitudes were sent away to their homes (Mk. 4:35). It was explained to you how those words, "when evening had come," portrayed the Christian dispensation, stretching into our time; and when the close of this dispensation has arrived, how He is going to speak unto that small and faithful group, who have followed Him closely and intimately, "Pass over unto the other side." That will be the call long-awaited by His church, to pass over into that land which He has prepared for them. But unfortunately for so many, even for multitudes who have heard His Word, and who believe that they are members of His church, they will be sent away to their homes here on earth. For that is the meaning of His other parable of the 30 and the 60-fold: those are numbers pertaining to earth and man, and can have no lot in heaven. Only the 100-fold can ever enter into the Presence of God.

Now I want to pick up where I left off, and show you how in the other little details which ordinarily are considered but casual, there is an immense amount of prophetic detail hidden. We are told that when they got to the other side of the sea they came into the land of the Gadarenes, and there He was met by a man out of the tombs, who was possessed by an unclean spirit (Mk. 5:1-8). But at the time that Jesus was casting him out, the demon answered Him that his name was Legion, for he said, "We are many" (verse 9). And we are told how there was a great herd of swine feeding nearby, and that the demons asked permission to enter into the swine herd. Our Lord merely answered them to get going, and so when the swine were possessed by the demons, they became mad, immediately rushed down a steep incline, and perished in the waters below (verses 10-13).

No doubt you have heard sermons on this great miracle performed by our Lord, but did you ever hear that it constituted multiple prophecy, stretching into the future?

As you were shown, this is to take place at the end of the Christian dispensation, that is, "at the close of the day," after multitudes throughout the world have been taught through the parabolic experiences of life, and have also heard the glad tidings of the kingdom of God for the here and for the now, as well as for the future unto those who are accounted worthy to enter into that heavenly kingdom.

First, let us look at the setting: here we find a great herd of swine being fed in the Holy Land – there was trafficking in swine. At that time, hogs were considered unclean; therefore, this speaks to us of a colossally great uncleanness in a holy place. And the number of this uncleanness approximated 2,000. For, we are told that the swine herd was about 2,000. Observe that this was a condition which the Lord came across at that time. So, as we turn back the pages of history, we find that in about 63 B.C., Pompey of Rome entered the Holy of Holies, where also was poured out swine's blood. All of this constituted an overwhelming uncleanness, or a desecration of that which God had consecrated. Rome, then mistress of the world, had taken over Palestine, the land of promise granted unto the seed of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. No other people had a right to live therein. Wherefore, this entry by Pompey of Rome, and the desecration of the Holy of Holies, marked the commencement of an era of about 2,000. Those 2,000 represent that many years. That era of 2,000 years of uncleanness, measures into the decade of the 30's of the 20th century, when we find that World War II started, which paved the way for, and led to that stage where world Jewry declared themselves a reborn nation in Palestine. We see, thereby, how right on time God so ordered world affairs, whereby He commenced to deal with the unclean condition in the Holy Place.

Now as we look further at this prophecy of the 2,000 swine which became obsessed, after that the Lord with His small group of followers had arrived in that land, we see that the hogs became crazy and suicided. As I have just shown you, His group of close followers, who had been told to pass over to the other side, represent the call that His church has been awaiting these many centuries, when at the close of this dispensation they are asked to "come up hither," as depicted by the call to John and also the Two Witnesses (Rev. 4:1, 11:12). In another place we are shown how, at that time, there is going to be war in heaven, when the Devil with his angels are going to be cast out of heaven and confined to the earth (Rev. 12:7-9). That is the great and terrifying truth that the Christ wrought out in drama, when He commanded the legion of devils to enter the swine herd, which obsession immediately caused them to suicide. At that time, the Gentile nations were considered unclean people; they were represented by the herd of swine. Therefore, this shows us prophetically how shortly following the time that His church is called out of this world, and Lucifer and his angels are then cast out and confined to the earth's atmosphere, they will so obsess the Gentile nations, that they will embark upon that war of extermination represented by the suiciding swine.

To the average person, the word "legion" merely means a great number. But we cannot understand the Bible if we go by generalities. Our Lord lived under the Roman rulership. Therefore, those events must be understood in terms of Roman practice. When we look at this, we find that it was a word used for a standing army of approximately 6,000 footmen. It didn't have to be precisely 6,000; it could be between 5 and 6,000; it could be 50, or 100 more or less than 6,000 – hence, an army intended to approximate 6,000 men with a company or two, more or less. That we may better understand the details of this prophecy, we divide that number of approximately 6,000 by the days of our year, and it gives us 16.43. This number talks to us of that many centuries following Rome's acceptance of Christ.

History shows us that the mistress of the world (Rome) accepted Christianity in 311 and 313 A.D., under the rulership of Constantine. Maybe we are not justified to say that Rome received Christ in those very years, but it does give us a point of reckoning which will not be too far off. When we add 16.43 centuries to the time of Rome accepting Christ, it takes us to the last part of the decade of the 1950's in the 20th century; but we must not overlook that the term "legion" was a flexible number which could have 50 to a couple hundred men, more or less. By this we see that as little as an extra 50 men would have added as many as 14 years to the prophetic measure (or as much as 150 could take us to 2006 A.D.). Although we don't know the exact number of those demons, we do see how their approximate number details a prophetic span of time reaching into our very days.

Since we should not limit the Holy One of Israel, let us look again: the distance across the Sea of Galilee where those disciples rowed on that particular occasion, comes close to an even 8.13 Roman miles, which, for a round trip, would make 16.26 Roman miles. Since Rome was the ruler of the world at the time, we again take the number of world rulership, which is 100, which gives us the prophetic measure of time for the world, and for Rome in particular. In terms of centuries, the 16.26 become 1,626 years, which, added to the time of Rome's acceptance of Christianity in 311 to 13, takes us to 193739 A.D. At that very time we find that Benito Mussolini became engaged in the war in Spain, which led to Italy's defeat, or the beginning of judgment for his nation. Were we to know the exact distance down the incline which the swine stampeded before they perished in the waters, it might enable us to predict the very year that the Gentile nations will take complete leave of their senses and stampede unto their own destruction.

That is why The Voice of Tomorrow now trumpets this warning unto the people, that the Lord is soon to call out of this world a people for His Name; that is, a small and select group which have sought the fullness of His Will and pleasure by following Him very intimately. When that takes place – and it is now at our very door – it will constitute such a terrific spiritual shock unto the entire world, that leaders of the nations are going to become quite mad. All of them will then know without a shadow of doubt that they have "missed the bus," which realization will put them beside themselves in fury. Those Gentile leaders will say in their hearts something along this line: "Those `holy' Christians have now been taken out this world; therefore, the world belongs to us, and we are going to make the best we can out of it." Then will the Beastial Empire decide to take things into its own hands; it will be the Beast's world against Christendom.

Therefore, on June 22nd, 1965, came the Voice of God to me clearly, saying, "Call My people together." After a brief pause it repeated with emphasis, "Call My people together." That is the explanation for this message being spread from coast to coast, that His people may be warned to get themselves ready, for, the hour of the Lord's return is actually at our very door.

Let me remind you of God's word through the Revelator, that "...the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy" (Rev. 19:10). That is where our spiritual leaders have failed: they have stopped short of what God intended; they have LIMITED the words of Jesus, believing them to be like unto the casual speech by ordinary men. They have failed to realize that His words which appeared so casual, covered, or hid from view, a vast range of deeper meaning – revelations of God's Truth for man's good; and they also carried the signature of God through PROPHECY (hidden prophecy, that is), which spoke to people of events and eras to come, some of which has already been fulfilled as recorded in history...while other portions of His hidden prophecies are fulfilling in these very days.

When we see these things fulfilling in our time, at precisely the time He did forecast, then He expects us to BELIEVE what He said with reference to other matters.

That one outstanding Truth which Christendom has missed is that glorious fact that the Kingdom of God is for our HERE and for our NOW: not something to be hoped and waited for until after a person is dead. What God prepared for His children is available for them just so soon as they are ready to receive it; even like unto an earthly father who works for the good of his children NOW.
