But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this Man hath done nothing amiss. And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when Thou comest into Thy Kingdom. And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, today shalt thou be with Me in Paradise." Luke 23:39-43

Greetings, friends! This day may the brightness of Christ's light shine into your life, even as it did through the eyes of blind Bartimaeus after the Lord had opened his eyes. And that indeed it can; it is strictly dependent upon your own mental attitude – if you are determined to remain spiritually blind, repeating like a parrot whatever you have heard uttered in the spiritual darkness of this stygian night, then will your life also remain dark as you flounder from grief and disappointment through misfortune and tragedy. But if you are willing to recognize that the very words of the Nazarene were true, then you will know that "while men slept an enemy sowed the tares" (Matt. 13:25); that the world has eaten thereof unto their own spiritual blindness, and great sickness, until now the entire civilization totters on the brink of destruction. This very dread situation did our Lord foretell at different times and in many ways. And He lamented the fact that upon His return to earth He would look about and find so little of the true faith left on earth, that He questioned where could He find it. As soon as you recognize that you have been living in Jericho, and at its best you have only come to the outskirts of the city, then you will know that you are still as blind as Bartimaeus and you are in need of the Lord to open your eyes, that you may see and fully "follow Him in the way."

Last time I explained to you how the Lord's miracle of compassion in opening the eyes of blind Bartimaeus and his friend on the outskirts of Jericho, constituted a prophecy for His Chosen People, as well as for the world at large, and that covering a period of 1,938 to 1,940½ years of spiritual blindness, until His Chosen People and the world at large come face to face with the Lord of Life, Who has the power to banish the darkness.

My dearly beloved, do you realize that before world Jewry and our Christian civilization at large get their spiritual eyes opened, that tremendous and world-rocking events must take place? The conflict of the ages is first a must. And after real trouble has set in, the Lord will call out of this world "a people for His Name."

Now, let us shift our gaze from world Jewry and civilization at large, to that of our own little selves. If the world at large is spiritually blind, then so is the individual. And that, my dear friend, is what I have been trying to put across to you – that the great spiritual darkness which has obtained during this night of Lucifer's reign, has completely blinded our churches and the individual to the most wonderful and glorious truths which Christ our Lord taught, and also made them blind to the tremendous range or scope of that work of redemption which Christ the Lord wrought on the Cross of Calvary. You have been brainwashed into believing that His work of redemption was all for your soul in the sweet by-and-by. Don't misunderstand me; I am saying nothing against the soul of man; I am saying nothing against the work of redemption Christ wrought for the soul of man; but I am saying that the work of our Lord was completed on Calvary's Cross, and that included the physical body – or rather, the entire being of man. And since it was wrought for man's entire being, then of necessity was the soul included. But the important point is that it was for our here and now.

My dear Christian friend, don't forget that you are blind Bartimaeus on the outskirts of Jericho. Christendom has been passing through Jericho and has now arrived at its outskirts, where shortly we shall meet up face to face with the Lord of Life. And you, as a child of Christendom, were typified by blind Bartimaeus; that is, you are a child of the worshipper of God, but are unfortunately blind as a bat. Therefore, if you will now like blind Bartimaeus lift up your voice to Christ our Lord, and call for mercy, not permitting yourself to become discouraged by the many bystanders who prefer to remain blind, then will you see light which you have never seen before...because to me has been revealed the principles of the Keys to the Kingdom of God for our here and our now, that the previously blind may see and follow Him in the way.

How is it possible that Christendom could have been so blind as to believe throughout these 19+ centuries that the Son of God came to earth to suffer horribly to accomplish a work for the "soul" of man in a future life and an unknown tomorrow? When was it that God ceased to live in the present? When was it that God became so impractical that He disregarded the present situation and confined His work to the misty substance of man's soul, and that for thousands of years in the future? If the results of Adam's sin, and the curse which came upon him, were confined to his soul and a future life, then why was it that Adam and Eve grew old, got sick, entered into sorrow and pain and eventually died? Were not all of those effects upon their physical bodies and objective minds?

The beloved Apostle tells us in his First Epistle, (I Jn. 3:8), that because of the sins of the primitive pair did the Son of God become manifest in human flesh "to destroy the works of the Devil." Hear my words (and I challenge their refutation): so long as man gets sick and lives a miserable and wretched life, going from disappointment to disillusionment and into grief, sorrow, suffering and eventual death, just that long have sin and its curse reigned, with God's having done absolutely nothing about it. I mean insofar as that one person is concerned. The average person knows nothing about his soul; he doesn't even know that he possesses one. So far as he knows, no curse has ever come upon his soul. But he is well aware that his physical body, and the earth-life in general, is very little aside from one continuous curse. And it was to liberate man from that particular curse that the Son of God came into human flesh and went all the way to Calvary to set us free – absolutely free.

Look back again upon blind Bartimaeus and his friend on the outskirts of Jericho. Would it not have been possible for God Almighty to so arrange it that the prophetic span of time could have been shown us in some other way than through Jericho? You see, beloved, this Jericho stands for everything that Lucifer teaches. As the moon receives the glorious sunlight and reflects it to us in but a very small percentage of its original strength, and that only for a short time during the month, so similarly are the teachings of Lucifer. He has been and still continues as the prince of this world, and our Lord said, "He has nothing in Me" (Jn. 14:30) – that is, no common meeting ground. Since he couldn't do away with the Son of God, he started to interpret His teachings in such a way as to get man completely brainwashed, and to carry on in that lurid light which has obtained during this night of spiritual darkness. What simpler way could the Devil invent to do away with the work of Christ, than to fool people into believing that it was all for the "soul" of man in the dim and distant future of an unknown world? Christ lived in the here and wrought for our now!

It is up to you to decide whether you are going to be like blind Bartimaeus who kept on yelling to the Christ and telling his fellow bystanders to shut up, or whether you are going to listen to your fellow bystanders and remain in your spiritual blindness. Any kingdom so packed with treasure as is the Kingdom of God, has a portal or a gateway as its entry, and very special keys.

On June the 22nd, 1965, God spoke to me saying, "Call My people together." Then after a brief pause for emphasis He repeated, "Call My people together." Since that time He has also revealed to me what appears to be the completeness of the principles of the Keys to the Kingdom of God. I have nothing to sell you at a price. But I would dearly like to sell you the conviction that the work of redemption on Calvary's Cross was for your here and now, and that as and when you accept His work of redemption for your entire being, and for your now, using the Keys to the Kingdom of God, then you will find that you can enter into the life of the doubly blessed here on earth right now! The Keys are in printed form and are waiting for you to request them.

This idea of waiting until after one is dead is just too fantastic for words! At no time did the Christ ever turn people away or put them off by saying, "After you are dead you will find release and happiness." But no, He lived in the here and was their Savior then and there. There was no putting off; there were no excuses; there were no promises for the future. Only one case can I recall, and that was when He hung upon the cursed tree, when He spoke to the thief on the cross beside Him, saying, "Today you will be with Me in Paradise." Of necessity we must understand that as a promise to be understood in a spiritual way. But observe, He didn't say "tomorrow," or "sometime in the future," but the eternal now – "today!" There was no valid reason why the Christ should resort to the power of God to save the dying thief from that fate which was the lot of the criminal. But since he had arrived at repentance and faith in Christ as the Savior of man, then the Lord promised him deliverance immediately, otherwise his spirit would have gone down to the murky caverns to await His judgment.

You as a brainwashed Christian in the spiritually dark Jericho of this world, were represented by blind Bartimaeus. Today is your opportunity to cry out to the Lord to get your eyes opened to the truth and to that glorious deliverance He wrought on Calvary for you and me, for our here and now, instead of for the soul in the sweet by-and-by. It is the birthright of the sons and daughters of Jesus Christ to enjoy the fullness of God's goodness to us here and now. What! Did not the Apostle tell us that upon the Cross peace was established (Col. 1:20)? If for us He achieved peace with God, then is there no further excuse for man's woes, sickness and unending troubles. The finished work of redemption He achieved for us was for our entire beings here and now – of that there can be no question except by those who remain spiritually blind. I must remind you: Christendom at large, and YOU as a member thereof, ARE blind Bartimaeus! How sad the fact that Christ our Lord must first pass through the entirety of Jericho before arriving at its outskirts – where fumbles, begs and stumbles "blind Bartimaeus." Yet we can rejoice in this one fact: that as prophetically depicted, we have now arrived at that place in time as portrayed by Jericho's outskirts: the Lord of Life and LIGHT is approaching – just around the bend of the road.

WHY should it be so difficult to believe that the works of God have all been PREplanned? That every detail had been arranged according to the wisdom of God in order to speak to us and generations still unborn? WHY must we think of God and His Christ as speaking and doing things according to the manner of man? Thereby we "LIMIT the Holy One of Israel." And when we limit God, we are only limiting and hindering ourselves – by shutting God out of His desired place in our lives.

Look to blind Bartimaeus: his friends tried to hush him up. Had they succeeded he would have died blind. And just so surely as YOU set your mind to the calling of Jesus Christ to your side (that He may open your eyes), equally certain is it that your cronies will tell you to hush up – for, you are out of your mind. But when in DARKness you have suffered sufficiently, THEN with determination will you seek His LIGHT and power, that you too may "follow Him in the way."

What does the moon stand for in the life of modern man? Is it not called "romance"? Remember that Jericho links with the MOON city. And so it has been with all of mankind down through these ages; when he has traversed its city, spending his time in seeking the delight of the senses, he has become completely blind to God and all His truth and goodness. And when, like those who live in the moonlight, he is satisfied with seeing everything under a very poor light, then he cannot discern between the true wheat and the tareseed planted by the enemy. He swallows blindly all kinds of dogma, half-truths and particle-truths until he is completely full of hops, while the tareseed brings on the final spasms and death.

WHY, ten thousand times WHY, is it that you will not DEMAND that God prove Himself, and that those who stuff you full of dogmas PROVE their claims? Any claim that cannot be proven – give it the boot! THIS is an age of SCIENCE. What! Do you believe that God is not abreast of the times? Our scientists calculate the distance to the moon or to Mars; then they construct a projectile, planned to travel at a certain velocity. They divide one into the other and foretell when the rocket will strike the moon. At the precise moment promised, our TVs light up with pictures of the moon's surface. That science has proven itself. Similarly is God both able and willing to PROVE Himself to man. And whoever claims to be His servant should similarly PROVE his statements, otherwise be rejected.

The Voice of Tomorrow PROVES Jesus to be Christ, that you may PROVE Him your Savior here and now!
