II Corinthians 4:5-7
"For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."

"But that the WORLD MAY KNOW that I love You, ARISE! LET US GO HENCE." John 14:31
THAT was [spoken] but an hour or two before the armed band took Him captive. At the very moment of His speaking, HE KNEW THE FATHER'S WILL, as well as the horror of the impending events, together with the agony of suffering and humiliation which would be heaped upon Him. In the face of THAT SHAME AND SUFFERING and its vision horrific: with great will and determination He arose to deliberately walk into darkness' stark hour, saying: "BY THIS (act) shall the world KNOW THAT I LOVE YOU...!"
