II Corinthians 4:5-7
"For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."
January 15th
"But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience." Luke 8:15
The "earmarks" of A SON and HEIR we observe in those who always speak and LIVE THE TRUTH; who practice honesty FOR HONESTY'S SAKE; whose word is as sure as the rising sun, and free from all foolishness and "jesting which is not convenient (or that which is out of place)." The sick and lonesome are visited; widows and orphans are remembered and the aged are honored. SERVICE UNTO GOOD is a driving impulse, rather than "how much money will it net me?" PATIENCE, KINDNESS, and CHARITY are the sentinels guarding man's three-dimensional progress, while FAITH the fourth (so-called).
