II Corinthians 4:5-7
"For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."
February 15th
"ABIDE IN Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine, no more can ye, except ye abide in Me." John 15:4
These words set forth are a self-evident fact. No explanation is needed, except to look at that "abide" word. The fruit-bearing vine-branch, continuously DRAWS the mineral-laden sap from the vine. By which words He is telling us that we must perpetually LIVE in Him; constantly drawing His fruit-yielding strength in order to bring forth the "fruit" which the Father covets to behold. That "abiding" word is too close to dead unto today's Christendom! It must be transformed to mean constant and intensively realistic LIVING IN THE SPIRIT of His Words.
