II Corinthians 4:5-7

"For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."

"...observe to do, all the words of this law. ...because it is your life...." Deuteronomy 32:46-47

That is the secret of His covenant, that He will be as an Almighty Father unto you, leading you by the right hand, watching over you jealously lest any harm befall you, guiding your every footstep, teaching you of His Own wisdom; blessing you through His Own power; drawing you ever deeper into His Own bosom, that your joy shout may commence in the morning, and your life become a very melody throughout the entire day. Christendom is full of trouble and grief: man goes through life with an aching heart; people get knocked from pillar to post, in an unending series of what they call "bad luck"; they get sick, they have accidents, they fail in business and go broke; they find themselves without money, and worry themselves sick, eventually to wind up in the morgue, all because they have not known "the secret of the Lord's covenant." You must know the secret of the Lord's covenant; otherwise you will not be able to stand when the tempest strikes.

Jesus, the Christ, put into operation the laws of His spiritual kingdom to become operative for man, here on earth, before He ascended to Heaven. Therefore, those of us who are His true children, having been born into His kingdom, living as His sons and daughters, having discovered or learned the "secret" of His covenant: even all of such can greet the day with a shout of joy, and warble one's way through the day without a care because Christ Almighty is in pact with us, keeping our every step lest we stumble and fall by the wayside: with great jealousy watching over His Own, "leading them beside the still moving water. He prepares a table before us in the wilderness, He anoints our head and our cup of joy overflows."
