II Corinthians 4:5-7

"For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."

"There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it." I Corinthians 10:13

But some will retort: "We are destined unto trials and affliction – even as were the apostles of Christ" – in which case you are admonished to better study your Bible! You are destined unto TESTING, but NEVER UNTO AFFLICTION IF YOU ARE OBEDIENT! From all such were ancient Israel promised ABSOLUTE FREEDOM AND DELIVERANCE IF OBEDIENT UNTO YAHWEH'S ORDINANCES! – WHAT! Is your Christ a second-rater to Mount Sinai's covenant? (How you shame His Name!) Christ stated emphatically that "whosoever committeth sin IS THE SERVANT OF SIN." But "If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be FREE indeed" (Jn. 8:34-36). IF you postulate that His "making you FREE" does not take place until DEATH, then do you relegate Christ's WONDROUS ATONEMENT to a secondary and very inferior power to Sinai's covenant! For, surely Yahweh's promises to Israel were not held in abeyance unto death!
