II Corinthians 4:5-7
"For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."
October 6th
"...To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth My voice." John 18:37
Oh to be sure you may "believe" in Yahweh, or believe in a "First Cause" or in a "Universal Spirit"; you might even be a respectable citizen and "drool with mush" from morning to night; but UNLESS you have an ABSOLUTE FAITH in Jesus the God-MAN/Savior, you do NOT qualify to become a citizen of His kingdom – now near.
Is Jesus to set up a kingdom? Pilate asked Him if a king of the Jews He be. Jesus answered him: "Thou sayest that I am a King. TO THIS END WAS I BORN, and for this cause came I into the world...."
Let those words sink deep into your heart; and kid not yourself that there is a "heaven" to which you shall be wafted – maybe because you are a "jellyfish" without a "spine," and drooling with mushy love and "honey." (To be sure there is a "heaven"; but WHO is fit to stand in the presence of God?)
"No man cometh unto the Father, but BY (THROUGH) ME" – said Jesus in flesh as a MAN. Unto that TRUTH did He bear witness.
