II Corinthians 4:5-7

"For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."

"I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is My flesh, which I will give for the life of the world." John 6:51

Jesus of Nazareth was up and "about His Father's business" at the age of 12. That approximates the age when the sons of man, as well as some of the daughters, commence to go all out about the devil's business! Therefore, by their age of 30, instead of having readied themselves (as Jesus did) for the Heavens to be opened unto them, the Heavens are but black and lowering, even foreboding.

Howbeit, it was well known in the Heavenly council chamber that the sons and daughters of man on earth would be under the direction of Lucifer, and thus with the heavy odds against them of ever showing up before God at the age of 30 as a living sacrifice up to that moment. So, the Son of the All Highest came to earth to indwell a helpless human infant, determined (from on High) to live that sacrificial life, that He might fully bridge the gap between God and man. That He did at a price unspeakable: even a price so ghastly that few humans would ever consider it for a moment. Yet the Mighty God and Everlasting Father did not flinch from the works predetermined upon: He took the worst that Hell could muster (for you and for me).
