II Corinthians 4:5-7
"For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."

"...How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!" Romans 10:15
The fullness of The "Way" not only includes the basic acceptance-in-faith of our Redeemer's "Passover" sacrifice to us (becoming "the propitiation for our sins"), but from the moment of that realization, arising to one's feet, picking up one's "Cross" (whatever that may be in the individual's life), then forsaking one's own personal interests in order to go forward in faith to DO THE LORD'S WILL! And that regardless of the sacrifice it may involve!!
"Doing the Lord's Will" is not something specific for every individual, but varies immensely. And, whatever it may be must meet this criteria: "The glorification of Jesus Christ before the mind's eye of other persons."
Kid not yourself that by "preaching the Gospel" you are accomplishing the former. Never did the Christ mention the "Gospel"! HE preached and wrought the "Glad Tidings" of good things of the Kingdom. To convince one or ten thousand that such are "saved," but that the other six billion "go straight to Hell to be tortured time without end," constitutes no "Glad Tidings" of good things! Such is a diabolic doctrine, invented by our theologians and foisted upon the simple and credulous!
