II Corinthians 4:5-7
"For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."
April 8th
"Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: He is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass." Zechariah 9:9
The daughter of Jerusalem should SHOUT because her KING approaches, having PRESERVATION, and riding upon a colt – the foal of an ass.
In the days of our Lord on earth, the leaders of His people failed to receive Him when He came riding into Jerusalem – as predicted by the seers of old. As a result the entire nation went into captivity, which lasted throughout a long, black night of terror – almost into this very day. WHY? Because they did not accept Him.
May that terrifying truth sink deep into your soul. Perhaps you personally have accepted Him; still such acceptance is by degree. To such degree as you personally accept Him, does a blessing enter into your life. But even so, to that extent which you fail to accept Him, does your life fail to manifest the fullness of the Kingdom joys for the here and now. Bear this in mind, that as He was unto the nation, both in manifestation and in judgment, so similarly and precisely is He unto the individual....
