II Corinthians 4:5-7
"For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."

"Enter into and through the cramped gate's fullness, for, enlarged the gate and broad the way that leads into the destruction, and many are they that enter through it: for, cramped the gate and confined the way that leads into the life, and few are they who discover it." Matthew 7:13-14 (M.D.'s rendition)
According to the brainwashings common to modern pulpitry, most of Christendom has found the narrow gate which leads into life. But observe how our Lord stressed the fact that there would be but "a FEW" to "discover" it! Also observe the article word preceding life (THE life). HE was speaking about the highway unto destruction on the one hand, in contrast to a cramped door and confined way leading into the life. Not "life" as our theologians have taught us, but rather the life: that is, THE life for His sons and daughters in enjoyment of the Kingdom conditions Here and Now.
Lucifer has done a magnificent job: the glitter is increased with more sparkle to come; blinded are the eyes by the light he distorts; lulled into sleep are the multitudes; the "harvest" approaches....
We don't need more money, cars, clothes and eats, but more of Christ Himself and His "way."As and when HE we have "more abundantly" – then man's life takes on glamor: it is the enchanted life of His sons and daughters living in His "Kingdom" Here and NOW. (That is my joy in helping many to "discover" and how to walk that way.) True, the "gate is cramped, and confined (or narrowed) the way," but Oh, what JOY!!.....
Is not "joy" life's fullness? Then come into discernment and choose the GOOD – to glorify your life.
