II Corinthians 4:5-7
"For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."

"Behold...the Lord Whom ye seek shall suddenly come to His temple, even the messenger of the covenant Whom ye delight in." Malachi 3:1
The Prophet Malachi four centuries before the Christ...declared...that the Yahweh of Moses' day, would come to earth in human flesh.
Therefore are we free, gloriously free to live as the sons and daughters of Jesus Christ, under the New Covenant, in complete disregard for the Old. However, that does not grant us the liberty to do wrong. In connection with the New Testament, our Lord delivered only one commandment: "a new commandment I give you, that you love one another as I have love you, that ye also love one another" (Jn. 13:34). When Christ-Love lives within us – even that love which is willing to sacrifice itself for the good of others, manifestly, we can do no harm, nor wrong anyone.
That is the very fundament of the forthcoming kingdom of God on earth: a kingdom founded in love. I speak not of "flower youth" and their so-called free love, but of that Divine love which comes to dwell within the human heart, when one is born anew of the incorruptible seed of Jesus Christ. What a wondrous kingdom that will be!
