II Corinthians 4:5-7
"For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."

"Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand." Revelation 1:3
We have dealt with the seven mighty miracles of our Lord (one treated in SHOMERON'S BLIND BEGGAR) and His ONE lone miracle after the resurrection. Some of these have spoken entirely of the future, while others have been shown to dovetail with events of recorded history.
Some people are very little interested in prophecy, yet very much interested in the Word of God. This is regrettable! A person need not be interested in prophecy from the perspective of impending events, but in an age of crass materialism and lack of a LIVING faith in God – PROPHECY becomes the super-weapon to combat Unbelief! It is indeed the Unused edge (by the Churches) of His two-edged sword! PROPHECY – as revealed in His word – when properly handled becomes THAT which no man can refute, not even lightly regard. Ministers may drone away forever on the necessity of FAITH yet countless thousands are not so constituted as to be capable of accepting God's Word merely because it has been recorded and claimed to be such.
"Blessed are they who have not seen, and yet HAVE BELIEVED," said the Christ (Jn. 20:29). Wonderful and precious is such faith . But the doubting Thomas required PROOF! And did our Lord disappoint him? NO indeed!
