II Corinthians 4:5-7
"For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."

"...seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself...." Matthew 6:33-34
Be not concerned over tomorrow: that is His strict command (unto His Own). Perhaps you don't know when the next paycheck is due, or how long your job will last, perhaps you don't know how the rent money is going to come in: there are a multitude of uncertainties in the life of man, but our Lord said: be not concerned over these matters, for your heavenly Father is aware of your every need. Look at the lilies of the field, how God has clothed them in beauty, which even Solomon with all his riches and wisdom could not duplicate! Look out upon the little birds which fly about you: God has given them a perpetual and comfortable dress, while from day to day He feeds them, neither does as much as one of them ever drop to the ground without the Father's (permissive Will). All power in heaven and on earth belongs to God (there is none other). Are you not many times more important that one of those little flyers? If then, God so clothes the lilies of the field and provides well for the insignificant birds of the air, who neither labor nor store up for the winter; who are you to worry about tomorrow? (How thick has grown that roof, the tiling of which must be broken up!) "But seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, then shall these material things be well looked after for you..." (Matt. 6:33).
