II Corinthians 4:5-7
"For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."

"Verily I say unto you, whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God, as a little child, he shall not enter therein." Mark 10:15
We have a Spirit-FATHER in the Heavenlies (the Father of the indwelling spirit in man [Heb. 12:9]): ...it is He Who YEARNS to guide, counsel, direct, and bless every "child" of His who is willing to "hear" His Word. It is that "child" psychology which He craves to see. Here on earth in a right and normal home, the little one never questions his father's ability to lead, to provide and to save (from whatever the predicament may be). Recall His words above in Mark 10:15.
Whosoever is highly educated finds it difficult (if not impossible) to enter into that child's psychology. While contrariwise, the one with meagre education, and perhaps dumb as well, finds it easy to look to Father for everything....
It is to Him - to our Lord and Redeemer we are to go: it is to HIM we look for everything (in order to remain in the fullness of His LOVE)! Otherwise, we "commit whoredom"!
Which equates to much the same as I repeatedly set before you: a right father wants his son to come to him for counsel and/or help, instead of seeking it from outsiders; even as a right and good mother desires to see her growing daughters come to her for information, for counsel or help instead of going to questionable sources. Yet that comparison does not do the matter justice – even though fully sound in principle. The very best of dads and moms are limited in their knowledge of matters and in resources. But there are no such limitations when we go to the Eternal Father, Keeper, and Creator. What Solomon or Einstein on earth would have counseled Israel to "go forward" when the Egyptian army was in hot pursuit behind and the raging sea ahead? But the situations which to man appear impossible, are but a bagatelle unto our great Lord and soon returning King. But first He wants to see the evidence that we believe Him. That desire and expectation is well founded.
