"If ye love Me, keep My commandments." John 14:15
"KEEPING His commandments" – DOING His bidding and Will: THAT He averred to be the evidence of LOVING Him (Jn. 14:15). Presumably, the degree in which we love Him varies with every individual. But the amount of OBEDIENCE TO HIS WILL is the measure of our LOVE wrought out.

We have a Spirit-FATHER in the Heavenlies (the Father of the indwelling spirit in man [Heb. 12:9]): ...it is He Who YEARNS to guide, counsel, direct, and bless every "child" of His who is willing to "hear" His Word. It is that "child" psychology which He craves to see. Here on earth in a right and normal home, the little one never questions his father's ability to lead, to provide and to save (from whatever the predicament may be). Recall His words above in Mark 10:15.
