II Corinthians 4:5-7
"For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."

"...we will obey the voice of the LORD our God...." Jeremiah 42:6
Whosoever has a DETERMINED mind of his own, cannot partake in the Kingdom of the Heavens! PERFECT conditions ("heavenly") require PERFECT control by a perfect mind which has arrived at the fullness of understanding. THIS we can perceive, even by established world governments. Its citizens partake of all that is available. But those with too much SELF-will soon find themselves shut up in prison, denied their previous good and freedom. The basic difference being that here one goes to jail after expressing SELF-will; but the Lord – beholding what every person is – prevents the SELF-will from entering His kingdom!
Neither should you forget that which I wrote decades ago: the closer you approach to Christ, the narrower grows the path until finally you WALK THE RAZOR'S EDGE! To which I will now add: the "narrowing of the path" is not limited to one's personal efforts to "come after Him"; but is – in a measure – also duplicated by "the Last Days." Year by year we get that much closer to the Lord's "strange work" which incepts by "His strange act." Although sin may be rampant in the life of billions, the Lord's drawing nearer to us invokes the same requirement: THE PATH NARROWS!
