II Corinthians 4:5-7

"For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."

"Call upon Me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and you shall glorify Me!" Psalm 50:15

Should some problem arise, immediately reflect on the fact that your Father knows the solution: commit the matter to Him; ask Him to lift the mist that the glorious light may clearly shine. Don't worry over the problem, but maintain your mind in the calm assurance that no problem can remain before your Father's face: He will enlighten, He will deliver!

Should some crisis develop, again you ask for Divine protection and deliverance. Should it be extremely critical or dangerous, you call out aloud: "Lord Jesus, Deliver!"

Yes, indeed, you can command Him (Isa. 45:11)!

You are his child. If a child of yours is in danger, or an accident, screaming out to you, "Daddy, help me!" would you not receive and act on that command, with everything that within you is? Not for one split moment forget that your relationship to the Heavenly Father is precisely the same, and His reaction to your need is also precisely the same – unless you are but a spirit brat, who spits in His face by the constant evil in your life.
