II Corinthians 4:5-7

"For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."

"Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and His Maker, Ask Me of things to come concerning My sons, and concerning the work of My hands command ye Me." Isaiah 45:11

WOE to him that strives with his Maker (Isa. 45:9)! You bemoan the "injustices" of God and decry His "love." You are like the toddler who strives with his father, and the brat who berates his mother! YOU are but a spirit-infant as yet without understanding!

Or, can you not consider that God is the Potter Who selects the clay (Jer. 18:6)? His Word tells us: I know the purpose for which I need a vessel: I determine its form, texture and glaze. As the potter molds on his shaping wheels and decides the baking heat in the oven, similarly do I select a body of suitable stock to serve the required purpose as a vessel for the spirit-child I command to enter. While the experiences in life you oft bemoan as "injustice" are but the working over by the Master Potter on His shaping wheels to bring forth the desired product.

Should the clay berate the potter? As its understanding is nil in contrast to that of the craftsman, so is that of My spirit children in contrast to that of their Father's.

Or should the creative labors of man's hands arise to blabber: You have no hands! (That is, how dumb can you be? MUCH better should you have done!) As the clay and as the works of man's hands are without sentient life or intelligence, unable to decry the man, so similarly should the "clay" I fashion, and the "works" to which I put it, remain silent before Me – until the GLORY I have decided upon shall have had time to come out of its "baking ovens" (Isa. 45:9).
