II Corinthians 4:5-7

"Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill." Matthew 5:17
If "LIFE" was available under the Law, then WHY the Cross of Christ? For two (at least) outstandingly important reasons. First: God's plan calls for PERFECTION. This the Law could not achieve. But being "born again" of that "incorruptible seed" which the earth-life of God's Son provided has placed the YEN into every true Christian's heart to REACH HEAVEN-WARD. THIS is the "perfection-seed" which evades the Lake of Fire and reaches HOME in the shortest possible time. No such perfection-seed was available for transfusion from the lower life-wave called animals. IT CALLED FOR THE SON OF GOD IN HUMAN FLESH, Who would lay down His soul an offering for sin that the seed should not abide alone, but, falling into the ground, bring forth multifold (Jn. 12:24)!... Secondly, the Son of God came in human flesh to SAVE THE HUMAN PHYSICAL BODY! It is God's absolute MASTERPIECE! And when He is returned He will declare the Truth and show up Christendom's folly of death throughout these 19 centuries past. (But Christendom is effectively blind – while "asleep in the night"!) THEN shall the "everlasting gospel" be preached (Rev. 14:6). That is, it has never been preached before! And what makes it "age," or "everlasting"? Only one thing can make it that: THAT TRUTH WHICH GENDERS TO LIFE'S PERPETUITY – WITHOUT THE INTERRUPTION OF SO-CALLED "DEATH"! FOR THIS DID THE CROSS OF CHRIST PROVIDE: OTHERWISE IT COULD HAVE BEEN NO "FINISHED" WORK.
