II Corinthians 4:5-7
"For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."

"The world cannot hate you; but Me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil." John 7:7
When you LEARN THE TRUTH and LIVE IT FULLY ALL OF THE TIME – you will be conceited, narrow-minded, intolerant, harsh; a busybody and maniac; odd, loony, crazy and possessed; blind and without love (for others); stagnant, unprogressive, and ill-informed; a joy-killer and unsociable; a heretic and fanatic to a great many. IF that is not a correct statement, then there is no dilemma on the international horizon today; then there are no divorces and blasted homes; then your friends and people are all upright, true, and righteous; there is no unemployment, inequalities, nor unfairness: IN FACT, ALL IS SWEET AND BEAUTIFUL! (Indeed, it could be that all is – but only myself that needs glasses.)
It is even as our Lord said to the sons of His mother: "Go ye up unto this feast – for the world cannot hate you" (you are a weak-kneed part of it) "but Me it hateth, because I testify of it that THE WORKS THEREOF ARE EVIL" (Jn. 7:7)! And so He was but a "Samaritan" and "had a devil" – fit only to be cursed, lashed, and nailed to a tree.... So it simmers down to whether or not the knees have the starch to stand up, if the hide can take it, and if there is a surcharged spirit within so filled with the GLORY OF GOD, that the life goes on, indifferent to the world, sufficient to rejoice in trysts with God on sunlit peaks of glory.
