II Corinthians 4:5-7
"For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."

"And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you." Matthew 17:20
Again our Lord said, "If you had faith as a grain of mustard seed, you might say to this mountain to blow up, and be cast into the sea; and it would obey you." We may stagger at the implication of such a statement; but the point I have in mind is this: a mustard seed is very small; but if it is cast into suitable ground it receives a vitalizing energy. It shoots forth a tendril and a leaf, and soon becomes a prolifically fruit-bearing herb: IT GROWS. That is the important point to remember; your faith towards God today may be infinitesimally small, but give it a chance: put it into suitable ground (that is, into its right atmosphere vitalized by the strength of God's truth; nourished by the reality of His Presence), then watch it grow and blossom into a ravaging plant which overruns and chokes out all else that stands in its path. That is the love of Jesus Christ to us-ward; and which He yearns to see become similarly developed in ourselves. Give LOVE a chance to flourish within you: then shall its twin sister "Faith" also grow in stature and great beauty.
So be it unto you. Amen.
