II Corinthians 4:5-7
"For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."

"But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly." Matthew 6:6
Get into your place: into your proper place (with Christ our Lord). There stand fast. There ordain your thoughts according to the blueprint He has set before us. There dwell deep and long on the truths which I have unveiled for you. Know Him as your Lord, then will you quit your backseat driving; know Him as your loving and mighty Father, then will you quit your whimpering; believe in His goodness and His wisdom, then will you quit your begging.
When we have entered into our closet and shut the door, then does our heart bow before the Father. For we are aware that as yet we are not full grown, nor have we attained to understanding, no, not even to the strength we should have. Therefore does the heart bow in awe in substance whispering towards Him: "Forever be Your Name set apart in my heart – because of Your Love and Goodness to me-wards. Father, I yearn for Your Kingdom to manifest: in the meanwhile, be it manifest within my heart, and expressed in that which I say and do. Give me strength Your Will to do. Whatever I may need this day, You will give it to me (I know You will). Wherein I fail You, may You graciously overlook: broaden my understanding, that I also may forgive others. Hold me so close to Yourself that this day I shall know no temptation. Shield me with Your hand – lest evil come upon me, for I know You have that power, and I know that I of myself am not equal to the powers besetting. Even now, hasten to glorify Your Name. So be it in Jesus' Name."
