II Corinthians 4:5-7

"For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."

"And God said, Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness: and let them have dominion...." Genesis 1:26

That is the greatest statement unto enlightenment which can be found in Scripture.

This sets before us man's relationship to God: that is, a child before the face of his Father. This was corroborated by the Christ, thousands of years later by His saying:

"In truth I tell you, whomsoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein." Mark 10:15

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil...." Jeremiah 29:11

The Lord's Word tells us in substance: Sons in immaturity, ENQUIRE of Me what plans I have in mind for you; and when you have attained sufficient maturity to understand the pattern of My works, then arise to tell me: Daddy, let's tie into it! It is even like the right youth with his father who, having beheld the land cleared of trees and rock, and the required implements bought, joins the ambition of his father by saying: "Daddy, let US go to work, tilling the ground and seeding – that WE may reap a wonderful harvest!" ("...command ye Me!" – Isa. 45:11)

"Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and His Maker, Ask Me of things to come concerning My sons, and concerning the work of My hands command ye Me." Isaiah 45:11

WOE to him that strives with his Maker (Isa. 45:9)! You bemoan the "injustices" of God and decry His "love." You are like the toddler who strives with his father, and the brat who berates his mother! YOU are but a spirit-infant as yet without understanding!

"We love Him, because He first loved us." I John 4:19

The fact of God's Fatherhood implies and necessitates by very nature, that in an absolute totality He perpetually give Himself for the little ones He loves (even as a human parent) without a moment's hesitation; that He give all that He has and is for the good and the preservation of the little ones He has begotten.
