II Corinthians 4:5-7
"For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."
October 1st
"And in very deed for this cause have I raised thee (Pharaoh, a type of Lucifer) up, for to shew in thee My power; and that My Name may be declared throughout all the earth." Exodus 9:16
I am fully convinced that God is making good use of Lucifer; we might even say that He is in need of Lucifer's services!!! IF not, WHY is he to be loosed out of his prison at the close of the Millennium (Rev. 20:3)? The temptations which took us captive – for a season – have added immensely to our strength since finding the Lord. In fact our "captivity" was a strong and helpful factor which led us to Christ.
