II Corinthians 4:5-7
"For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."

"And they burn unto the LORD every morning and every evening burnt sacrifices and sweet incense...." II Chronicles 13:11
"Seek the LORD and His strength, seek His face continually." I Chronicles 16:11
Is there balance in your life? (No indictment implied.) Ordinarily, man eats, sleeps and works. Whatsoever time he may have left over and above this he gives to PLAY. The more sophisticated and sugar-coated term is "recreation." This he is told is ESSENTIAL. (THAT is not here disputed.) But what is disputed and set squarely before you is the TRUTH of the Tabernacle Pattern: BALANCE! The West MUST equal the East! IF, then, your heart yearns for the regaining of the lost Paradise, then your own life must be brought into harmony with the Divine Pattern. By this is meant that you must contrive to so plan and order your life
*THAT GOD IS GIVEN PARITY WITH THE WORLD!*
For unless your life and activities are THUS directed, you aren't even on the road to Paradise Regained!
In the life of many, about 8 hours are given to work; another 8 hours to sleep and about 2 hours to eating. That leaves about 6 hours not accounted for. Unless half of such time is appointed to FACE-SET-WEST, then there is NO BALANCE in that life! How much of your time is given to God and the things of SPIRIT? How much of your thinking-time is westwardly inclined? Is there BALANCE? IF not, start thinking, start planning and REplanning your daily life.... ONE entire day out of seven is set aside to God (to such extent as conditions in your life PERMIT that). Yet THAT is not sufficient! It is but the minimum which God has ordained while you are living IN and OF the world. But IF Paradise you wish to regain, then get BALANCE, and GET IT FAST! How much time do you daily spend reading newspapers, magazines, novels, and listening to radio and TV programs which do NOT profit you (spiritually)?
IF truly you want to make spiritual progress, and to firmly set your feet on the Path leading back to the Lost Paradise, then REorient your Time! Content yourself with a few press headlines, or a brief newscast. As for the balance of such, it is ALL in and of the world and leads you ever further and further away from the Eden of God.
