II Corinthians 4:5-7
"For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."
October 28th
"If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on My holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour Him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words: Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it." Isaiah 58:13-14
IF you wish to enter that sacred precinct (the Tabernacle), GET SPIRITUAL RHYTHM! ONE day out of seven MUST be set aside as HOLY UNTO GOD! The priesthood of old could not enter the Holy place without passing through the FIVE OF GOLD: (the 1/7th of spiritual consecration) neither can you today ever approach the Paradise of God without first cultivating A PROFOUND RESPECT FOR ONE DAY OUT OF SEVEN AS HOLY UNTO GOD! *
In the plainest of language are you told that YOU WILL NEVER GET OUT OF THE BUSHLAND OF NOD UNLESS AND UNTIL YOU HAVE ACQUIRED A PROFOUND REVERENCE FOR 1 DAY OUT OF 7 AS HOLY UNTO GOD!*
Merely abstaining from getting drunk, or not working by the hour (for wages) or at your business; or scrubbing your floors or doing the week's wash, does NOT constitute your SANCTIFICATION of His day. It is WHOLLY and ENTIRELY for Him, and that in its TRUE SPIRIT, wherein you REST in body, and mentally dwell in the things of Spirit that your being may – at least in a measure – be REattuned to the Divine Will. Otherwise you have not CONFORMED to the Pattern.
