II Corinthians 4:5-7
"For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."

"...because thou hast seen Me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed." John 20:29
This I have tried to explain before by pointing out that the Son of God, being an effulgent spirit Being, is not a dimensional entity, nor like a house to which you may go and open the door, going in. In my previous attempts to explain the matter, I do not recall ever having used that effulgent word, which I now believe may be helpful. That effulgence, or irradiation, could be likened to the radiance of the sun, the light of which breaks upon the eastern horizon, in the morning. Man beholds its light, and that great ball of fire, even too bright to look at. He also begins to feel its warmth. He sees, he feels, he believes "on the sun"! But were he to try to travel towards it until he had "believed himself into it" he would find the distance immensely great and time consuming.
Similarly with the Son of God and our believing into Him. We hear and we are awed by the power, and majesty of His Words; we begin to see the irradiating light of His Being; we commence to feel the warmth of His love. So, we "believe on the Son of God." But as yet we have only beheld the emanations: the light and the warmth of His love. But believing into Him, by going towards Him perpetually, becomes that lifetime undertaking to become so unified with Christ, that His heartbeat is our very own, and we but open channels for His light and love, and power.
