II Corinthians 4:5-7
"For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."

"And He arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm." Mark 4:39
"HOW (is it that) NO FAITH YOU HAVE?" (See Mk. 4:4.) IF to begin with you have "THE FAITH," you will not leave Him to slumber, but constantly ply Him with questions; perpetually seeking His WILL, incessantly beseeching His guidance – FROM THE FIRST, even BEFORE commencing, rather than His might and wisdom being relegated to the last and hindmost, and used as a last resort when you despair of life!
OUR LORD ABIDES IN THE HERE AND LIVES IN THE PRESENT. Treat Him thus! THEN shall the squalls refrain from fury, while your little boat in its haven rests before the storm its vengeance wreaks.
AND YOU WITH HIM ON SUNLIT PEAKS OF GLORY!
Are you AFRAID to talk to Him? Are His answers HARD and stunning? Do you dread to have your folly displayed? Or your style cramped?
FACE ABOUT! Start the morning with a song – in your heart or on your lips. COMMIT yourself to His care. COMMAND His helmsmanship. SUBMIT your will to His. SEEK His pleasure. Then warble your way through the day without a care, incessantly COMMUNING WITH HIM! THEN SHALL the day take on color and your life MEANING. THEN shall you marvel at the "great calm" in your soul.
AND REJOICE IN THE MIGHT OF THE MASTER!
