II Corinthians 4:5-7

"For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."

"The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment." Psalm 37:30

You must come into the realization that you are a child of the eternal Father; and because the Son of God suffered and died in the flesh to set you free, there is an absolute peace between you and God. And if so, then is He perfectly willing to accomplish wonders for you here and now....

Look at a child of normal and right parents: while very young the child receives the utmost of care, protection, and guidance. As the youngster grows in stature and in age, so similarly grows his understanding and his spirit of independence. Because of that changing spirit or attitude, the parent's perpetual attention will diminish. Not because of any lessening love, but because the growing youngster wants to do things according to his own immature ideas.

But even when that son or daughter gets into the late teens, mid-twenties, or even more, the right parent is ever eager and happy to give a word of counsel founded in that wisdom garnered through years of experience, as well as willing whenever possible to lift a sheltering hand.
