II Corinthians 4:5-7
"For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."
March 8th
"Whosoever will come after Me, let him deny himself...." Mark 8:34
It becomes a measure of "self-sacrifice"! "Coming after Him…?" Was HE not a prodigious worker? Whosoever is to "follow the Lord" shall not find himself a-snoring in a bed of roses!! The Lord and His helpers (the Bride and her maidens) have an immensity of WORK to be done until the last and the least of His are safely "back home" – in adoration at the Father's feet!!
