II Corinthians 4:5-7
"For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."

"Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able." Luke 13:24
Let us bear in mind that in the early Greek manuscripts there was no punctuation, neither separation of words. Accordingly we find in Luke 13:24-25 a faulty punctuation and wrong impression given. "Struggle with great diligence to enter in through the cramped gate" should be the end of the sentence with a bold period. While the balance of the sentence (as in the Authorized Version) should be run in with verse 25. For, He certainly did not tell us that many should try desperately yet fail! But rather, "AFTER the house-DESPOT has arisen and closed the door" THEN it will be TOO LATE even though many shall struggle desperately. THEREFORE did He urge MIGHTY DETERMINATION and a RELENTLESS STRUGGLE while ours is the chance and time lies before us. For, in truth, the time arrives that the gate gets closed and also the DOOR.... Neither should we suppose that all those in "Paradise" will be entirely satisfied with their lot – believing that theirs too is the right to "take a higher seat at the table." It is HERE on earth we PROVE ourselves fit for that which lies ahead.
