II Corinthians 4:5-7
"For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."
November 28th
"...My meat is to do the Will of Him that sent Me, and to finish His work." John 4:34
I look within where I can but discern the rising tide of a mania – to do the "Will of Him Who sent Me"; while a passion for TRUTH is like LIFE ITSELF, come what may. So, things that are seemingly hard and indifferent, are often said to serve the fount of TRUTH, rather than catering to man. "HONESTY" – how UNenchanting a word. And LIVING it I have found far from a picnic, even though there is a strange JOY to its madness. No, I am not talking about paying one's bills and fulfilling a promise. Such are but rudimentary.... I am talking about matters which go DEEP and are HIGH. To speak the Truth will sometimes lose a sale, or offend a very dear friend. Living the Truth will make you "odd" in the sight of many. Take a loved one to task over something wrong, and you are charged with not "loving" any more: In my work God-given Truths MUST GO OUT – offend whom it may. To be "honest" I must find fault, criticize, and some times "show up." False teachers and their "isms" must be ripped and shredded, while race-hatred is given the boot. So to be "honest" one must be unconcernedly OUTSPOKEN. Which "lets you in for it"! To many you become conceited, narrow-minded, intolerant, harsh; a busybody and maniac; odd, loony, crazy, and possessed; blind and without love (for others); stagnant, unprogressive and ill-informed; a joy-killer and unsociable; a heretic and fanatic – and maybe a few other things I have forgotten.
