II Corinthians 4:5-7
"For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."

"And God said, Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness: and let them have dominion...." Genesis 1:26
That is the greatest statement unto enlightenment which can be found in Scripture.
This sets before us man's relationship to God: that is, a child before the face of his Father. This was corroborated by the Christ, thousands of years later by His saying:
"In truth I tell you, whomsoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein." Mark 10:15
Think back to the time that you were but a child before your father's face (or before your mother's if she was the principle one in your life). Did you not say "Good morning" to your parent? And did you not inquire as to his/her wishes for you throughout that day (unless you grew up as just another brat)? Or perhaps you are a parent today, responsible for one or more young ones. If such a parent, does it not call forth an outflowing love toward that young one who comes to you in the morning with a happy greeting, inquiring as to what you have in mind for him/her throughout the day?
Diligently and persistently, train yourself into this child-to-parent relationship (with reference to our Heavenly Father). It must become a dynamically vibrating realization deep within you.
