II Corinthians 4:5-7
"For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil...." Jeremiah 29:11
The Lord's Word tells us in substance: Sons in immaturity, ENQUIRE of Me what plans I have in mind for you; and when you have attained sufficient maturity to understand the pattern of My works, then arise to tell me: Daddy, let's tie into it! It is even like the right youth with his father who, having beheld the land cleared of trees and rock, and the required implements bought, joins the ambition of his father by saying: "Daddy, let US go to work, tilling the ground and seeding – that WE may reap a wonderful harvest!" ("...command ye Me!" – Isa. 45:11)
Later on when the son has come to a maturity of understanding and diligent in labors throughout many a year, he may arise to say: "Daddy, I want you to turn in the old tractor on a new one; it is giving me too much trouble"; or, "Father, let us put a new motor into the old truck – which we idled some years back."
This would be like unto The Son in the maturity of years when the Nazarene spoke, saying; "Stretch forth your hand" (Lk. 6:10), or "Lazarus, come forth!" (Jn. 11:43) ("...command ye Me!").
According to age do you "command" in matters appropriate thereto. The little shaver might well say to his father: "Daddy, help me up into the saddle with you!" Or, "Daddy, lift me out of this mud hole!"
"Command" your heavenly Father in keeping with your age, understanding, and the situation involved appropriately....
