II Corinthians 4:5-7
"For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."

"WHERE IS YOUR FAITH?" Luke 8:25
I cease not to remind you: "WE – in relationship to God – are like young children in relationship to their parents." God forbad His people to have "other gods." The penalty was DEATH! When young children decide that their parents are old-fashioned and too strict, they go lending their ear to the "gang across the tracks"! Soon they are in crime and maybe jail; or they are on dope and soon smitten by V.D., herpes, or even AIDS!! (Have they deserved any better??) Was the Lord but a narrow-minded "kill-joy" when He declared that HE had to come FIRST: that DEATH was the penalty for idolatry?
WHO are YOU? Have YOU put the Lord to sleep in the back part of your boat? Have YOU been traveling EASTward across the Sea of Life (Galilee)? The inescapable consequence thereof is a DANGEROUS STORM. Maybe only a troublesome wind has bothered you: did that cause you to be disgruntled and blabber against your spiritual guide or leader?
IF you have, you should expect the "legion of devils" to come running against you....
Perhaps you have eaten to your full and rejoiced in the lush pasture lands to the east of Jordan and Galilee? Demons incarnate desire to have you! (Has not someone said: "Misery loves company"?)
