II Corinthians 4:5-7
"For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."

"As the Father hath loved Me, so have I loved you: continue ye in My love." John 15:9
How much do you expect of a son or daughter? What more do you expect of your offspring than to behold the right spirit? The willingness to HEAR your word, and strive your will to do? Is it not THAT which magnifies your love – to almost take you apart?
Then answer this question (unto yourself): in my moments of fullest rationality am I expecting too much that my child should HEAR, and by my counsel-in-love be guided? Is that an unreasonable expectation? Where is its unkindness, or UNrealism? Am I UNfair to look for this?
I believe I know what your answer would be. However, to that many of you might wish to add: childhood and youth are ever full of folly....
THERE you have the Heavenly Father – and the children of men.
HE expects so little: He asks next to nothing, but only waits and yearns that His should HEAR His Word, and be guided by His counsel-in-Love.
THEN does His Word go out in power – that you His child may blessed be....
It is as simple as that!
And His "counsel-in-love" – a joy to live!
While His blessing upon you – is Heaven here today!
THIS I speak from experience....
IT IS A LAW: the "law" of a Father's love....
HOW can you fail to see it?
"This is My Beloved Son in Whom I take delight" (Matt. 17:5).
What words of Truth and JOY!
"As the Father has loved Me, similarly have I in continuance LOVED YOU: continue ye in My love."
"IF you keep My injunctions, you shall abide in My love; even as I have kept My Father's injunctions and abide in His love." (From John 15.)
