II Corinthians 4:5-7
"For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."

"All Mine are Thine, and Thine are Mine; and I am glorified in them!" John 17:10
Decades ago I wrote about this "glorification," and have touched on it time and again since. But now that our remaining time is so short, it behooves us one and all to seriously take this matter to heart in an honest self-appraisal.
"FATHER, I will that they also, whom Thou hast given Me, be with Me where I am; that they MAY BEHOLD MY `GLORY' which Thou hast given Me: for Thou lovedst Me before the downcasting (KJV – "foundation") of the world." John 17:24
Although dealt with in the past, searchingly should we consider as to precisely what was that "glory" which their human eyes would behold when He meekly submitted to Aaron's gangster clan in the garden of Gethsemane; when He spoke not a word in His Own defense at the farcical trial; when the very CREATOR – without protest – yielded Himself to buffeting, spitting, mockery unto humiliation; when He spoke not a word in His defense before Pontius Pilate; when He offered not a trace of resistance and turned His back to the smiters! HE endured the horrendous flogging which sapped His bodily strength, yet struggled to bear the weight of the cursed tree when thus weakened – even when knowing that thereon He would be tortured unto death for you and me! When without resistance or flinching He submitted to the horror of those great, coarse nails to be driven through the living, quivering flesh; when upon the erected tree He endured the indescribable torture as He bled towards and into very death without a whimper (for you and for me)....
