II Corinthians 4:5-7
"For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."

"For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloke." Isaiah 59:17
The Glorified One knew that the "cold" ones, which are to be tossed into the Lake of Fire, shall some day emerge denuded, but with such a ZEAL for loyalty, righteousness, truth and the Father's Will – even the FULLNESS of the Father's Will – that their zeal shall approach unto a perpetual mania....
But the lukewarm ones? They have not sold out to the devil, therefore He will not cast them into the Lake of Fire. But they lack so immensely the requirements to come into the Father's Presence (see Rev. 14:4-5), that He is forced – even by the righteousness of His judgment – to spue them out of His mouth (into the Great Tribulation – M.D.). Do you suppose He has a multitude of people IN HIS MOUTH?? It is their NAMES He has in His mouth! Were those names to remain in His mouth, then would their names be called ("come up hither" – Rev. 4:1, 11:12)! The "firstfruits" (144,000) are those whose names remain in His mouth: THEY get called ("...redeemed from the earth," and "redeemed from among men" – Rev. 14:3-4).
