II Corinthians 4:5-7
"For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."

"...I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea." Revelation 1:11
The first message comes under the numeral 1: you are to overcome life! It is founded in the First Commandment whereby we are told that God must receive absolute priority in all matters. But our present society under the reign of Lucifer has gone absolutely berserk over life: they strive for every bang and possible fleeting enjoyment they can squeeze out of every day – regardless of the cost to themselves and/or to others! God's dictum is that we are to live for Christ by living for others instead of living entirely for ourselves selfishly. The numeral 1 bespeaks life and light: that you have received. Strive to share its joy with others.
2 bespeaks discernment. We are to choose that which is good, both for ourselves as well as unto others, instead of the bad which leads into darkness, disillusionment, remorse, and ruination. The dupes of Lucifer lack discernment, they apprehend only the present moment. God's second injunction forbids having other gods before Him which, in fact, becomes a corollary of the 1st Commandment.
3: "Thou shalt not blaspheme," which means that we must be master of our every thought and word. We must exercise our thoughts as to how we can be of help to others. We should endeavor to plan our conversations in such a way that they may bring forth fruit unto others.
4: To ever be industrious, working diligently to build an established home, wherein to be master or a partner for the good of all involved. With reference to these matters, God delivered us a key unto success: in 6 days you are to do all of your labors, but the 7th day must be devoted entirely unto God.
5: To gain absolute mastery over all our emotions, and, as a minimum, to practice or exercise respect for all human beings. God, knowing man's carnality and selfishness, went no further with reference to this matter than to say, "Honor thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land...."
Under this matter manifests the basest of all human emotions, yet all of such we are to transmute into the highest, concerning which the Christ said to His loved ones: "By this shall all men know that ye are My disciples, if ye have love one to another" (Jn. 13:35).
