II Corinthians 4:5-7
"For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."

"But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty." Matthew 13:23
Maybe you never stopped to realize that the same was brought out vividly in the travels of Israel en route to the Holy Mount, for on the 30th day they received manna from heaven, on the 60th day they were at the foot of the Mount, and on the 100th day Moses was atop the Mount with God.
Let that account rejoice your heart greatly, for by drama God set forth what He has in store for you. You are en route towards God. On day 30, or the 30-fold, you hear or read about the Son of God Who came to earth for man's redemption. You believe, then, in the Son of God: that is the intellectual stage. But on the 60th day, that is, the 60-fold, you then eat the living bread which came down from heaven – you are born again. But in 40 days, the 100-fold, awaits you; then you are in the presence of the Lord. Today you are told to wash, sanctify yourself in preparation for the approaching day, because the Lord is come to speak to you. Hallelujah!
